I have the Osprey Radial, which has a mesh back panel suspended about an inch away from the actual backpack. It's meant for bike commuting but I use it for travel.

I was excited to switch from my messenger bag, but the volume is taken up with the laptop sleeve so not enough space for shoes, lunch and clothes. 9 mile commute. It might be good for a commute where you don't need a change of clothes. Switched back to my messenger bag.
