And also if you're going somewhere tropical or somewhere really hot, then this top layer of this yoga mat will protect from any mold or mildew. Something very important to keep in mind

 Another thing to point out is the top surface of this yoga mat is coated with an antimicrobial layer, which means that it prevents mold and mildew. And this is something to keep in mind if you practice either in a very humid environment or if you practice a dynamic form of yoga and you sweat a lot. So for example, I try to go to my teacher in India every year and there it's rather hot and we sweat a lot so that would be a good option to have there with me. And also because it's quite light, it means that this is easy to travel with
