My old foam roller started getting squishy after a few years so I needed a new one and got this one cause the size and price were perfect. This foam roller, however, is solid as a rock, like really hard, like it doesn't give at all. Kind of felt like I beat myself up a bit first time I used it, though I'm subsequently getting used to it. I guess the upside it is should last a very long time

If you don't have saliva, your issue isn't energy, you need some liquids. Plus, drinking a little bit after a GU shot helps. I've never had that "sit in the bottom of your stomach" feel with the GU gels.

I worked at a gym and theirs were amazing, this one is a little stiff but it works great for what is needed. I love to roll out before and after workouts to help work the soreness out and stretch my body out. Small enough to take traveling!

This roller is very firm. There is no give on this. It’s perfect for those extra sore muscles, but be prepared for the pain of the roller. A good pain though

When I got really zapped and was not sure I could go on. I stopped and had one packet took a drink, and got back to riding. There is a big hill that was coming up and I never make it up that hill. Today, I got a shot of energy right when it was needed and up the hill I went, and without any trouble! I had good energy for about about 30 minutes I would say? Then took another one and had no trouble with the last 12 miles home
