AMD Radeon RX 580 vs AMD Radeon RX 6800

I tried turning the computer on but the leds on my cooling fans would flash then turn off. The actual computer would not. I took it in for a diagnostic and the GPU had shorted, and as a failsafe the computer wouldn't turn on to prevent further damage. I had tinkered with the Watt Management settings to run the fans faster at lower temps than the default settings because I explicitly did not want the card to fry

Two 120mm fans pulling from front, and card fits fine. Also using an ATX psu. Needless to say I was worried about temps. Needless worry

I overclocked mine to 1435mhz core clock and 2250mhz memory clock for extra performance on MSI Afterburner and it is a really great choice for gaming and mostly anything else. I got an avg of 112 fps in the heaven benchmark and a 119 fps avg with the overclock. Its not a crazy overclock but its very stable and balances fps in-game enough to provide a solid experience. My temps are usually from 58C-67C, if you push the card though it willl reach around 73C max, at least from what I've seen

The die on these are actually pretty sizeable so it's impressive how cool it stays in a case. This card will overclock well and slight undervolt will yield a great experience. Oh and 16GB of VRAM. You're keeping yourself pretty future proof
