The Intel I5 11400 with B560 motherboard is probably a better value at the moment but consumes a little more power and does not offer much in the way of upgrade path. Keep in mind that any Intel "k" series processor does not have integrated graphics.

At just a 250-watt power requirement, I was surprised to see that, like the Radeon RX 6800 XT, the RX 6800 requires two eight-pin PSU connectors to power it. In contrast, 2019's Radeon RX 5700 XT, with its 225-watt needs, had the more common six-pin plus eight-pin configuration.

The die on these are actually pretty sizeable so it's impressive how cool it stays in a case. This card will overclock well and slight undervolt will yield a great experience. Oh and 16GB of VRAM. You're keeping yourself pretty future proof

Along with a 32GB ram kit + finally a decent fan hub by Cooler Master. The hard part was actually getting all the cables tidy and neat. I think it worked really well. Also switched my rug to a much more dust resistant one as well as custom walnut wooden raiser

Running benchmarks on this machine, though, temps topped out at 77°C in my stress test (20 minutes of constant full load after having ran some smaller stress tests that had already warmed up the machine). This was before adding the duct kit, so presumably it'd be a few degrees cooler now.
