7 and 4.6 gigahertz respectively, the 5600x is still everything you'd want in a gaming cpu and more. It also has a relatively low tdp by today's standards of 65 watts. 32 megabytes of l3 cache supports pcie 4

 It hits all three of those points, while also providing fantastic color accuracy and ridiculous one millisecond response times. Thanks to what msi is calling rapid ips technology, it's also g-sync compatible hdr ready and features an intuitive and powerful on-screen display, along with almost endless adjustability options to configure it to your needs. Perfectly also included is a usb hub that should help with cable clutter, a type-c connector one displayport 1.2 and two hdmi 2

 Something you'll probably also overlook is how much power the chip needs to keep chugging, along with it maxing out at 76 watts during heavy workloads, making the 12 400 and its max of 107 watts look greedy. Interestingly, the lower power draw didn't translate into lower temperatures with the 5600x settling in at 71 degrees c and the 12 400 at 69 degrees. Even though it's a bit higher than i personally expected, 71 degrees is still more than manageable and seemingly left enough room for the chip to properly stretch its legs with the 5600x hitting a maxwell clock of 4.65 gigahertz

AMD Ryzen 5 5600 vs. i5-12400 & 5600X CPU Review & Benchmarks

 Here'S a look at how the 5800x clocks in each of the cinebench r20 tests for the multi-core test, where all cores are heavily loaded. The 5800x clocks at around 4.4 gigahertz, which is well above the advertised 3. So i really am using it as a rough guide here for how cpus might compare when fully utilized in games

 It'S coming in at 300 u.s, which is a fairly hefty price premium 20 over the ryzen 5 3600 x. A part that really, in our opinion, didn't make sense to begin with because it cost 25 percent more than the 3600 and it offered very little uh in the way of extra performance. Therefore, most did up for the 200 ryzen 5 3600 and that's the part we'll be comparing the 5600x2

 At this point in time, i can neither confirm nor deny that claim, but i sure, as hell, hope it's legit anyway. For now, we've got the rather pricey six core 12 thread, ryzen 5 5600 x to check out and i'm very keen to see how it compares to not just the ryzen 5 3600, but also the core i5 10 600k. Actually, additionally, i'm also very keen to see how it stacks up against the ryzen 7 3700x, so lots of interesting comparisons to be made with this one just. Lastly, the 5600x features a single ccd with six cores enabled, and that means it's limited to a 32 megabyte l3 cache, which is obviously still substantial compared to the intel parts

I built my first gaming pc and chose this cpu, I’ve had it for 5 months now and it hasn’t slowed me down at all. At first I used it with a gtx 1070 and it ran everything great. recently I got a 6750xt and everything still feels really nice, sometimes it does bottleneck me a little but that rarely happens. The best thing about this cpu for me is its power consumption, if I had a more power hungry cpu I probably wouldn’t be able to have the setup I have now without having to buy another psu
