 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

 You have another little stretchy area. Here goes all the way to the bottom: a couple zipper pockets here you could put SD cards or batteries or remote shutters or whatever you like there and that's the the camera compartment.  It'S not like the foam that you would use for your backpack uh straps, it's like a very thick foam, and so they they sent me these, and i actually was able to do the install myself to upgrade this original backpack to be capable of handling a lot More weight and to just improve the frame and that's cool, i think it's important to reuse. You know products like this and to turn them into more functional, updated products when we can so we don't just throw out perfectly viable and useful backpacks and other type of hiking this one. So that's it! That'S my review of the bag. I think it's a great backpack, i i think it's um worth checking these out

 And then here i've got a long, a large version of a telephoto a little bit longer than your traditional 70 to 200, but essentially the the same grouping of lenses all right. . So it's a pretty big backpack, but this is the backpack that i've used for like five or six years. It'S so comfortable! You throw this thing on and you can walk for miles and you don't even feel the weight and why is it so comfortable? That'S the real question that we want to answer and we want to see these attributes in the bags that we choose for camera gear, so first thing comfortable, straps, obviously right, but the nice padding and the good form and the heavy duty foam.  If you want stuff that needs to stay absolutely dry, this is a well protected area for your important documents and things like that. This bag has been incredibly comfortable. The most comfortable backpack I've ever had that's also a camera bag and, as you can see, this bag expands to infinity. I haven't actually reached a point where this bag is full, where it's overfilled and where it's been too heavy to carry or anything like that

 It opens on the back and you get full access to the whole bag here in the back, and it has a little special feature called the origami compartment here, which basically allows you to turn some storage space into camera space or, like I said, storage space, and You have more volume for other stuff in the back. It'S it's very shallow, I'm an Olympus ambassador and I shoot with Olympus glass, of course, which is small lenses and they fit in perfectly. But if you have slightly bigger lenses, you'll end up putting them in sideways. Like this, I know that for future versions of this backpack there will be it'll, be slightly deeper and then normal full-frame lenses will also fit in upright or the general full frame lens will fit in upright

 They're not just smaller and larger versions of the exact same pack. There are some differences. this one has a laptop compartment on the front. This one has it inside

 They both feature this top flap drawstring top system and then they both have space down in front of the box that actually holds the camera gear and so with compression straps on the sides. Again, this is true for both models. You can stuff the pack as full as you need to and then cinch them down, throw a tripod on the side, and and make it work. Of course, made out of, you know, ripstop nylon

 Back panels are very similar with this sort of ribbed material. It's very comfortable. The biggest thing that I like about the the suspension system here is the waist belt. Now a lot of packs have waist belts

 just like any other outdoor pack you'd expect. They have the same suspension system for the shoulder harnesses here which is great. They both feature internal metal frames which again standard for hiking packs to help distribute the load of the pack down onto your hips rather than on your shoulders. They have or this one has an adjustable velcro thing for adjusting depending on your your torso height which is great can you get a good fit

The Black Diamond JetForce UL  is impressively light. At 4 lbs 6 oz, this pack is significantly lighter &#40;1-3 lbs&#41; than nearly all other airbags on the market at a similar volume. It features Alpride's 2.0 airbag system, which is unquestionably the lightest on the market. It's a stripped-down pack that is light on features, but we appreciate the helmet carry system and the small mesh internal pocket included for organization.
The JetForce UL makes some sacrifices to functionality and comfort to achieve its low weight. Its waist belt is basically a thin piece of nylon, and there is no real back support aside from the bit of rigidity created by the airbag system. The internal avalanche tool sleeve is difficult to access when the pack is full — which it will be, due to the small volume. The pack feels quite small for the 26L of claimed volume, and is just barely big enough for most day tours. However, after extensive testing, we didn't find most of these sacrifices to be deal-breakers. For folks who hesitate to bring an airbag due to weight, or anyone seeking the lightest still-functional airbag pack, this is it.

Now, many might suggest that this deployment system is passe, a dead end in avy air bag evolution. Given the five to ten year operational life of an airbag pack and wide adoption of the twin cartridge system, I doubt that will be a problem. I bought this for the Home Crag and road tripping, not for air travel: for the latter, I will likely rent an airbag from a reliable outfitter. Again, that's my bias

 One minor niggle is that two of the zippers have identical black webbing pulls and the third has gray webbing; one would think that the designers would have specified a third color/shade so that each pull had it's only color scheme, but this is easy to rectify.

Light, Roomy and a Reliable Inflation System

 It has a bunch of features and they're all hidden right, so it's very streamlined. It'S not going to get caught in branches up here. This pocket right here, pull this open and we have our helmet, carry put it back in close it up. Here we have our ice axe loop and in the bottom down here in this little hole we have tucked in the bottom part of the ice axe, carries you have the top loop here bottom loop here, tuck it back in [ Applause ] down

 So we got some clif bar coffee collection, which is freaking great. If you guys haven't tried it a little bit of trail mix and my goggles and i still had more room if i wanted to put more stuff in there, but that's just a brief little showcase of what you can find in there. Then we have the main compartment, which is this one right here see if i can show you guys, so the main compartment is right here, i'm gon na open it all the way. So what you're gon na see is first, we have this interior pocket here

 Here we have another little pocket right, pull that out. This is our ski carry, so this pack does a diagonal ski carry, so we have our bottom strap here and our top strap. We have a zipper right here, pull this bad boy out, and so this is our top strap, and this is our bottom strap right here, both of them tuck away so nothing's hanging nothing's loose. Then let's go around the back side here
