I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack. 

 A small hole developed in one of the side waterbottle pockets but I can take resposibility for that when I shoved the tip of my trekking pole in there. 

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Even with the camera compartment loaded the back pannel is comfy and I never feel any of the gear inside digging into my back.

 It goes all the way down in the front here, so you reach all the way down into the front of the bag. Right here, there's my hand going all the way in some more dry dry packs, so you can stuff clothes and things all the way down there. It'S got a little laptop sleeve right here in the front it might be hard to see, but you can slide your laptop in there and it sits against the cube, so it stays stays flat and it doesn't kind of jostle around and then here's the frame. So there's the steel frame i was talking about - and this is the large frame and you'll see it goes to here

 You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead. You can just put the medium frame in if you want it to be even a little bit smaller [ Applause ] additional pouch on the inside. It goes to there additional molle webbing and then a nice little spot for your name here, more straps on the inside

 There are also spots here to put in a smaller frame a medium frame. I think this is the large frame you can retrofit this pack to be a medium frame, and the medium frame goes right right here. You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead

 We'Ve got this nice mesh here, but then there's also some ribs. That kind of raise that you know to allow for some more airflow, which i think is really nice, these pockets, which you can pop out [ Applause ] and have extra little pockets here that you can put lenses in things like that. I mentioned lens pouches earlier. In fact, let me grab one of these, so i own several of these pouches, which are the think tank pouches

 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

 You have another little stretchy area. Here goes all the way to the bottom: a couple zipper pockets here you could put SD cards or batteries or remote shutters or whatever you like there and that's the the camera compartment. I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel.  For reference, my carry around camera is a Sony A7S3 and it's almost too tall for this compartment?? Even with a small lens it just feels like it's too bulgy for this bag which is almost unbelievable. Like did I get the kids version?  With that, the velcro and that compartment also royally sucks and falls apart constantly. Every time I open the bag the dividers are in a different place than I put them which leads the whole section being completely disorganized and items brushing against each other.  One thing I kept reading is that this bag was really comfortable, which is absolute garbage

This may sound harsh, but I'm being nice - this bag sucks

  Do not be under the impression that you will be able to comfortably fit your regular every day stuff AND a camera into this bag if you're going more than a few miles from home.  The truth is it's tiny. Like smaller than you think it is, even if you already thought it looked pretty small.  This bag is really not for anyone who has more than a very modest amount of gear

The marketing is misleading, but it can be a good bag if your needs are simple.

 Will give the bag another day or two before deciding to keep or not.  4 Month update I decided to keep the bag. I still love the way it looks and feels. The look of an ordinary backpack keeps it from being targeted by thieves

 It overall serves a good purpose for holding my camera gear and a few extra things in loft compartment. The true downfall is comfort, I am 5'10, not too tall and the backpack was just too small. The straps hung far over my shoulders where I just didn't feel comfortable and secure enough to wear this. I wish it had a chest strap and longer straps, as well as an improved backing

 When in comparison to a go pro bag, like the daytripper, it has superior comfort on the backing and very reasonable straps which make it feel just the right size. if this isn't a deal breaker, I would recommend!

So based on so many positive reviews, I jumped the gun and bought this bag. I am an enthusiast when it comes to backpacks. It overall serves a good purpose for holding my camera gear and a few extra things in loft compartment. The true downfall is comfort, I am 5'10, not too tall and the backpack was just too small

Why I'm returning this!.

 Using this as my daily driver and it’s the most comfortable, non assuming camera bag that’s super versatile and well thought out. Really happy with this one so far.

 So there's also quite a bit of room here in the middle between all these pockets. So if we need to put like another cord here, let's say we do want to have two things charging at once: a cord can go in there, no problem too, so you do got a little bit of room to work with on the back. Here we have the laptop compartment, nothing too special going on here, you know just opens up a little bit, so you can slide it out. There is a little bit of padding there, but no false bottom or anything, so not not the greatest protection for your laptop, but as long as you're not dropping it too much

 Now the outside you have your standard camera access, so you can flip this to one side as you're walking pull out your camera. Take some pictures with it and then throw it back in and flip it back around. So it's always good to have that quick pocket just because if you don't have that in your camera cube or your camera backpack, then you're going to be constantly taking your bag off setting it down, pulling it out. So the quick access is always great

 So in here you know we have a big trackball mouse in there and that fits in no problem. Uh. Sometimes these mesh pockets in other bags can have a hard time fitting larger stuff like that, but no issues here and then here we have a charger and record for a macbook here, rev power. So you can charge two at once with this one, which is actually pretty cool and then on the other side, just our little adapter for just any macbook related needs there and then lastly, just air pods and the air pods charger to go with them

 If you have a smaller tripod, you can kind of stick this in the water bottle pocket and then use this strap to help hold it down. So you just need to loosen this. A little bit and then that'll hold the top of the tripod uh. We have had this a few times become disengaged here, uh, not a huge problem, but you know, just if you don't have it tight enough on there

 We have this nice, discreet, zippered compartment, which you can see. The zipper is tucked inside this zipper garage here, which is a nice way to make this compartment more discreet, and this compartment uses this much of the back panel. So a small space here and it's good for putting in a passport or a wallet or a phone things that you want to keep flat on the back panel. So it doesn't affect your carry too much

 We have the organization compartment, we have four stretchy mesh pouches to help you segment your tech gear or your camera gear. So here i've got some canon batteries, as well as the canon battery charger. On this side, i have a pelican sd card case over here. I have the power cable for the charger and then here i just have a portable battery with a portable battery cable, both of them from lander, and then i just have some hand sanitizer

 So if you've got rolling luggage, you can slip the handle through this luggage pass through and streamline your carry that way and then on this luggage pass through. We can see a brevity text mark here also on the back panel. We have this nice, discreet, zippered compartment, which you can see. The zipper is tucked inside this zipper garage here, which is a nice way to make this compartment more discreet, and this compartment uses this much of the back panel

 But it's just a nice place to put those kinds of items inside coming to the front of the bag. I said earlier that this is a really unique compartment and that's because you can see that there are two zipper paths that run along this compartment. This little box area here, one of them, gives access to your organization. The other gives access to your camera gear and it's a really unique way of designing zipper paths to give an overall minimal look on the back, so starting off the front compartment
