I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack. 

 A small hole developed in one of the side waterbottle pockets but I can take resposibility for that when I shoved the tip of my trekking pole in there. 

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Even with the camera compartment loaded the back pannel is comfy and I never feel any of the gear inside digging into my back.

 It goes all the way down in the front here, so you reach all the way down into the front of the bag. Right here, there's my hand going all the way in some more dry dry packs, so you can stuff clothes and things all the way down there. It'S got a little laptop sleeve right here in the front it might be hard to see, but you can slide your laptop in there and it sits against the cube, so it stays stays flat and it doesn't kind of jostle around and then here's the frame. So there's the steel frame i was talking about - and this is the large frame and you'll see it goes to here

 You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead. You can just put the medium frame in if you want it to be even a little bit smaller [ Applause ] additional pouch on the inside. It goes to there additional molle webbing and then a nice little spot for your name here, more straps on the inside

 There are also spots here to put in a smaller frame a medium frame. I think this is the large frame you can retrofit this pack to be a medium frame, and the medium frame goes right right here. You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead

 We'Ve got this nice mesh here, but then there's also some ribs. That kind of raise that you know to allow for some more airflow, which i think is really nice, these pockets, which you can pop out [ Applause ] and have extra little pockets here that you can put lenses in things like that. I mentioned lens pouches earlier. In fact, let me grab one of these, so i own several of these pouches, which are the think tank pouches

 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

 You have another little stretchy area. I just got this and it is easily the best backpack I've owned due to size and quality and can't forget about the price. You can't beat 40 bucks for this backpack.

I am so greatly satisfied with this purchase! I use this pack for so much: hiking, travel (as my flight carry-on bag), weekend trips which require several outfit changes, but do not warrant traditional luggage bags. I sometimes use for school, on my long days where I need to pack extra snacks, or school-related materials. The laptop sleeve is great for using at school/air travel, as it offers protection and I like the ease of storing and retrieving it. There is plenty of space for my laptop, textbooks, chargers, food containers

There are multiple storage opportunities and zipped areas for smaller items so that they do not get lost in the large sack, making it easy to find when you quickly need them! (for example, if I'm doing some field sampling, I have quick access to my notepad, pencils, and accessible pockets to store small treasures I may find while exploring :)). Aside from the very practical use I am getting out of my Burton purchase

 For my water bottle, when, whenever I don't want to have it in the main compartment, as you notice, the bag doesn't have an external water bottle compartment, which is a little bit sad. But typically, I'm able to manage it with just carabiners and the compartment itself is so big on the inside that it hasn't really bothered me too much. But if you're somebody who likes to have a lot of organizational compartments on the outside, that may be a little bit of a problem for you and one last thing to note. With kind of these leather straps that the bag has here, even though they're leather and they feel pretty sturdy, I would be hesitant to hang something a little bit heavier on here

 To take a look at as this laptop compartment comes out, a pretty good amount, and so even though the bag doesn't have a lot of internal organization, and as I mentioned, it can be a big pain if smaller hands fall to the bottom. In the in this cavernous space to kind of find them, it is nice that the bag has one internal zippered compartment. It'S a mesh compartment which is really nice that allows you to see. You know the different items that you have in here in the compartment itself is pretty spacious, so if you have a laptop charger or additional cables or snacks, or something like that, this is a really great spot to put them, because you can easily access them

 If I was traveling, this would be a great spot to put my toiletries just so I could access it quickly and I just really love how easy it is to get at any items you have in here as you're. Moving about your day-to-day so love the space love, how easy it is to access, and I think it's really well implemented. Moving on to the main compartment. The first thing, you'll notice, is that the main compartment flap is secured with these two clips, and so the clips and the straps themselves feel very durable

 So there's a few inches there if you have a bigger device. What I currently have in here is my 13-inch MacBook Pro. The compartment itself feels padded on both sides. It doesn't have any sort of felt lining to prevent from micro scratching, but it still feels well padded and, like it's gon na keep your device protected
