I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack. 

 A small hole developed in one of the side waterbottle pockets but I can take resposibility for that when I shoved the tip of my trekking pole in there. 

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Even with the camera compartment loaded the back pannel is comfy and I never feel any of the gear inside digging into my back.

This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items.  This pack is very minimalist, breathes well, and is quite comfortable. I've taken it on multiple 50-mile rides on my gravel bike and found it very comfortable and well riding for a unit with no hipbelt. Like It's Not Even There

  However, I always give a little squeeze test prior to donning the pack on my back.  It is just as easy to get it right as it is to get it wrong.

Good "Aero" pack.

 I bought this one since I wanted a new one for summer and all mine were packed.  The good stuff about this one: Love the mesh straps. Love the ability to fill without taking it out of the pack. Love the new cap and handle  The bad stuff: I don't like the new mouth piece

It worked out great because the same bladder system can be used in our Osprey packs when we thru-hike. These days when we do day hikes of maybe 15km or more, we use them because we have them - it's a convenient way to carry a litre of water, your keys, bug spray, sunscreen and some snacks. But given the type of hikes we do now, I wouldn't go running out to buy a new one.

Curious, do hikers prefer to buy a specific hiking bag for day hikes (water, snacks, and first-aid kits) or any lightweight backpack will do. I noticed some hiking bags offer padded straps and hydration bag , but is it an overkill? Should I stick to something compact and lightweight?

So you can take this out and your cleaning or maintenance you need to do to it and then simply pop it back in and the way it came really easy to do really easy to cover up again on the back section, carrying on with the lightweight theme. There'S really lightweight shoulder straps, however, still exceptionally strong mesh through the middle to maximize the airflow, through keeping you nice and comfortable fully adjustable at the bottom as well, nice padded mesh back plate again being soft and curvy

 It'S going to be able to curve your back, especially if you're on a bicycle just make it fit a lot better little loop towards the top as well. So you can hang up when you get home, as you can see, the hose protrudes just out at the top of the shoulder strap can be placed either side, obviously, depending on how you prefer. It then feed it down through one of these loops. There'S also a little plastic clip again can be positioned on either shoulder strap just to clip that hose down and get in the right position

I'M certainly hiked okay at UK this session we're taking a look at the Camelback hydro back hydration pack. Let'S go ahead and take a closer look. There'S a real streamline, hydration pack, this one ideal, maybe if you're out for a run or a jog or maybe out on your bike for the day, really slimline design low profile. So it can quite happily go underneath the jacket if the weather's not too good outside I've got a small pocket on the front here, so you can stash your maybe your keys via cash
