I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack. 

 A small hole developed in one of the side waterbottle pockets but I can take resposibility for that when I shoved the tip of my trekking pole in there. 

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Even with the camera compartment loaded the back pannel is comfy and I never feel any of the gear inside digging into my back.

 It goes all the way down in the front here, so you reach all the way down into the front of the bag. Right here, there's my hand going all the way in some more dry dry packs, so you can stuff clothes and things all the way down there. It'S got a little laptop sleeve right here in the front it might be hard to see, but you can slide your laptop in there and it sits against the cube, so it stays stays flat and it doesn't kind of jostle around and then here's the frame. So there's the steel frame i was talking about - and this is the large frame and you'll see it goes to here

 You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead. You can just put the medium frame in if you want it to be even a little bit smaller [ Applause ] additional pouch on the inside. It goes to there additional molle webbing and then a nice little spot for your name here, more straps on the inside

 There are also spots here to put in a smaller frame a medium frame. I think this is the large frame you can retrofit this pack to be a medium frame, and the medium frame goes right right here. You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead

 We'Ve got this nice mesh here, but then there's also some ribs. That kind of raise that you know to allow for some more airflow, which i think is really nice, these pockets, which you can pop out [ Applause ] and have extra little pockets here that you can put lenses in things like that. I mentioned lens pouches earlier. In fact, let me grab one of these, so i own several of these pouches, which are the think tank pouches

 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

 You have another little stretchy area. Here goes all the way to the bottom: a couple zipper pockets here you could put SD cards or batteries or remote shutters or whatever you like there and that's the the camera compartment. - Comfortable.  Shoulder straps and the back are padded.  The channels in the back padding allow for some air circulation, keeping everything cooler.

Premium product and experience

This bag is great for commuting. It easily and comfortably holds my laptop and associated cords as well as a change of work clothes when I'm biking and then the bike clothes when I'm working. There is a top zippered pocket that holds a glasses case (and mask in the time of COVID) and the inside has a laptop pouch and small zippered pockets for pens etc. I wish it had one more small / medium pocket on the inside to hold snacks or my wallet or a small tub of sunscreen, but you can make it work

  Overall, I really like this pack for what it's designed and built for.  I have also used it for some light hiking due to its usefulness without being too bulky.

The Chrome Avail backpack is an excellent choice, in my opinion, for commuters (bicycle, motorcycle and your two feet) and light adventure seekers.  The design is well thought out for organizing your small and large stuff.  Well, relatively speaking on what large means.  The pack is not all that wide, so fitting anything wider than a small laptop or tablet device most likely will not fit; however, this has ample room for the things that you need to carry without burdening you while riding your bicycle (which is the target group)

Excellent backpack for cycling and more

 I like just a bit more length so that I don't have to contort my left arm (which I place in the strap second).  I question the ability to hold a 13 inch laptop. It is great for my iPad Pro 11 inch, but it just seems like there is limited room for laptops larger than this. The bag just seems too narrow

  Overall, this is a very nice bag, but you need to figure out (maybe measure) if it can hold what you need it to hold.

The strap is there to cover it up, give it a little more sleek, look hide the zipper a little bit more, but it can really get in the way when you're trying to open up this zipper. You know dealing with that right in front and then this front pocket is a little bit odd and this is another spot where it comes into. The material is kind of fighting you

 Just to help keep your back uh, nice and dry, and not so sweaty. Now. One interesting thing is the shoulder straps, where they're attached they're just kind of attached with this uh nylon here, which actually gives it a little more flex. So you can throw this bag on and off a little bit easier gives it a little more pivoting on top, which is a nice touch, and then you just have a little loop on top
