Comfort

Atlas Packs Athlete

(1/2)

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Cotopaxi Allpa 42 L Del Dia Travel Pack

(1/2)

It holds everything I need for months long trips, and I get to just walk out of the airport without waiting to collect baggage, killer! In terms of comfort, I wouldn't hike the PCT with it, but I have walked for hours with it without undue pain. It tends to ride a bit low and lacking a proper frame the hip belt doesn't take the weight as well as a proper backpacking pack, but if I ever get a bit annoyed with it I just remember how damn convenient the thing is and trudge on. The traditional suitcase opening is unbeatable, I hate living inside with a backpacking pack. Having to dig around from the top every time you need a shirt gets super old

Hiking

Atlas Packs Athlete

I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack.

Used this pack to carry everything I needed for hiking in Nevada. Perfect size for all of the things I wanted to bring. Got complements for the beautiful colors too!!

Compartment

Cotopaxi Allpa 42 L Del Dia Travel Pack

All the room I needed and more. The separate compartments are great and the ability to stow away the harness makes this a super clean colorful bag.

Carry-on

Cotopaxi Allpa 42 L Del Dia Travel Pack

(1/1)

I've had this bag for a year now and feel compelled to write a review. I absolutely love the thing. It's been a strange year and this bag has spend more time packed than unpacked, it's crossed the Atlantic 6 times and has been stuffed in many different sizes of overhead bins always without a problem. Zippers and straps are all super sturdy, apart from a few scuffs on the rubberized exterior, it's just like the day I got it

I already have a Cotopaxi pack. The TASRA. but I'm heading to Europe soon and wanted something a little bigger and more sturdy. Glad I found this

Strap

Cotopaxi Allpa 42 L Del Dia Travel Pack

(1/1)

I love everything about this bag but the hip straps - unfortunately that's a pretty critical part of the bag! It is a bit long for my short torso - I'm five feet tall. But even when the hip straps fit comfortably they're too high or too low. The load lifters worked nicely to offset the weak hip straps, but both could be a bit more durable. There are lots of cool pockets! I'm not sure why the bag comes with its own rain fly when the outside seems somewhat water resistant
