Comfort

Atlas Packs Athlete

(1/2)

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Hiking

Atlas Packs Athlete

I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack.

Compartment

Carry-on

Dakine Mission 25L

(1/1)

This has been a great pack! I took it to Europe and it was a great layout to keep things organized and the perfect size for what I needed. Not huge but not tiny. The exterior straps are nice - you can cinch a jacket in there when the compartments get overloaded. So far it seems very durable

Size

Dakine Mission 25L

(1/1)

I have this 4 stars only because I thought it would be slightly larger. It's really kinda small. Otherwise it's made very well, quality materials and stitching and looks great. It's just too small

Strap

Dakine Mission 25L

(1/1)

The chest strap and waist belt help offset the weight of the board and keep the bag stable and weight distributed well.
