Comfort

Atlas Packs Athlete

(1/2)

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Atlas Packs Athlete

I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack.

Fjallraven Singi Stubben

(1/1)

Courtesy Anyone who’s ever done a day of hiking knows that, sometimes, you just want to sit down and take a break for a couple of minutes to rest your weary legs. Trouble is, nature hasn’t gotten around to accommodating our ever-so-reasonable desire to have chairs everywhere we go. Oftentimes, taking a load off can mean the indignity of flopping down on the ground (like some sort of.

Carry-on

Fjallraven Singi Stubben

(1/1)

Side bags are available to increase capacity but honestly this is just gonna be a day pack for me and my photography kit and no need for a chair thanks to its tube frame takes my 17 stone lump with ease. Buy with confidence you'll not be disappointed I do not work for fjallraven by the way I work for asda

Size

Fjallraven Singi Stubben

(1/1)

Given its volume it could probably hold nearly 40 Lbs but I don't think this pack can comfortably be carried for any distance when loaded up that much. The pockets on the front, while they appear small, hold a pretty good bit of stuff and are shaped well to accommodate and swallow up large-ish items with ease. I can easily fit a pair of mid-sized binoculars and a bunch of other odd-and-ends in the lower front pouch. Finally, I'm about 6' 2"

Strap

Fjallraven Singi Stubben

(1/1)

Again, another nice touch that reflects light better so you can actually see what is inside versus the dark cave of other packs  Leather straps look great against the forest green colour and two straps on either side help with hoisting it on your back or into your vehicle. They can also double as a strap that you can twist into a loop to help keep an axe secure. The Stubben has a chest strap and an attachment for a hip belt. We added the extra side pockets (separate purchase) for additional storage and they hold a Nalgene and fuel bottle with ease
