I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack. 

 A small hole developed in one of the side waterbottle pockets but I can take resposibility for that when I shoved the tip of my trekking pole in there. 

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Even with the camera compartment loaded the back pannel is comfy and I never feel any of the gear inside digging into my back.

Right here, there's my hand going all the way in some more dry dry packs, so you can stuff clothes and things all the way down there. It'S got a little laptop sleeve right here in the front it might be hard to see, but you can slide your laptop in there and it sits against the cube, so it stays stays flat and it doesn't kind of jostle around and then here's the frame. So there's the steel frame i was talking about - and this is the large frame and you'll see it goes to here

 You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead. You can just put the medium frame in if you want it to be even a little bit smaller [ Applause ] additional pouch on the inside. It goes to there additional molle webbing and then a nice little spot for your name here, more straps on the inside

 There are also spots here to put in a smaller frame a medium frame. I think this is the large frame you can retrofit this pack to be a medium frame, and the medium frame goes right right here. You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead

 We'Ve got this nice mesh here, but then there's also some ribs. That kind of raise that you know to allow for some more airflow, which i think is really nice, these pockets, which you can pop out [ Applause ] and have extra little pockets here that you can put lenses in things like that. I mentioned lens pouches earlier. In fact, let me grab one of these, so i own several of these pouches, which are the think tank pouches

 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

It's look is plain which is what I wanted in an everyday carrier to work and back.  I didn't need all the loops and straps and hip belts most day packs have and didn't like that kind of look either.  It offers the right amount of compartments for me: 1-laptop & iPad, 2-main compartment - very roomy, 3- small access, 4-smaller quick access, 5-last minute compartment that can fit glasses+and several other smaller items.  inside has pen and pad compartments and separate zippered interior meshed compartments

Very durable with lots of convenient pouches and pockets for storage. My main complaint is it isn't quite wide enough to accommodate larger format laptops. I have a full size laptop with extended battery, and I can fit it in the bag, but not in the section of the bag designed for it. 2 inches wider and it would be perfect

I seriously feel this item should get more than the maximum stars! Sturdy build with great comfort would be the best way to describe it. Backpack that looks kind of neutral at first glance but amazes You with details the more You look at it. Everything is top quality, from zippers to the overall materials. High quality waxed canvas makes it waterproof as well

 There'S a nice fleece lining to provide some protection against scratching and then a really nice thing about this POC is that it's actually elevated off the bottom of the ground. So it offers that extra bit of protection and actually reminds me a lot of the laptop pocket that we saw in the herschel pop quiz. So that's been one of my favorites so far, and so this is meant to hold up to a 15 inch laptop. Currently, what I have as my 13 inch macbook pro but, as you can see, there's plenty of left over space for a taller device

 So all the way up, the left - you have one slot to put something like a pen or a stylus, which is what I currently have here. Next, to that, there's two slightly larger slip: pockets that are pretty slim, so they're not gon na, be able to hold anything too bulky currently in this first one. What I have is just my Apple Magic Mouse and then next to that I just have a USB C dongle for my touch bar MacBook Pro, and then you do have some additional space here towards the bottom, where you could toss in something like a book or A small jacket - I really haven't put anything here because there's so much space in the rest of the bag, but still nice to have that extra bit of flexibility on the flap. You have two additional meshes if ur compartments with a nice amount of volume, starting with the bottom one

 What I like to carry for my day today, but after trying the two versions out for my size, I did feel that the 20 liter looked a little bit small, even though it was able to hold a nice amount of stuff. I just preferred how they larger 28 litre size fit with my body type. In my height continuing along the outside. I was very happy to see that the bag has two extra and a water bottle compartments and they have a pretty decent amount of space

 As well as you fill out all the pockets completely, the bag does start to get a little bit bulky and it sticks out while you're wearing it. But it's still nice to have the flexibility to be able to use this for a weekend or a week of travel. The last area we're going to be taking a look at is the laptop compartment, so really nice amount of space offered here. This compartment has a simple sleeve that you can use to hold something like your tablet
