Comfort

Atlas Packs Athlete

(1/2)

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack.

Gregory Swift 30 Hydration Pack - Women's - 3 Liters

(1/1)

I purchased this backpack to take on my first 14er. It was really great and I'm glad I had it. It is a well designed bag and I really appreciated the multiple storage areas, pockets, and straps. My hiking poles did not fit on the designated spot, but I was able to strap them in tightly on the side without issue

Compartment

Gregory Swift 30 Hydration Pack - Women's - 3 Liters

(1/1)

There is one main pocket, a rear hydration pocket, a front pocket which is the full height of the backpack with a zippered internal pocket at the top (seen in the video), plus an additional smaller pocket towards the back of the pack that would fit a cell phone, sunglasses, etc.

Gregory Swift 30 Hydration Pack - Women's - 3 Liters

Here are the downsides, though, which made this a very frustrating pack for me when I used it in Colorado the last 12 days:
