I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack. 

 A small hole developed in one of the side waterbottle pockets but I can take resposibility for that when I shoved the tip of my trekking pole in there. 

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Even with the camera compartment loaded the back pannel is comfy and I never feel any of the gear inside digging into my back.

 It goes all the way down in the front here, so you reach all the way down into the front of the bag. Right here, there's my hand going all the way in some more dry dry packs, so you can stuff clothes and things all the way down there. It'S got a little laptop sleeve right here in the front it might be hard to see, but you can slide your laptop in there and it sits against the cube, so it stays stays flat and it doesn't kind of jostle around and then here's the frame. So there's the steel frame i was talking about - and this is the large frame and you'll see it goes to here

 You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead. You can just put the medium frame in if you want it to be even a little bit smaller [ Applause ] additional pouch on the inside. It goes to there additional molle webbing and then a nice little spot for your name here, more straps on the inside

 There are also spots here to put in a smaller frame a medium frame. I think this is the large frame you can retrofit this pack to be a medium frame, and the medium frame goes right right here. You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead

 We'Ve got this nice mesh here, but then there's also some ribs. That kind of raise that you know to allow for some more airflow, which i think is really nice, these pockets, which you can pop out [ Applause ] and have extra little pockets here that you can put lenses in things like that. I mentioned lens pouches earlier. In fact, let me grab one of these, so i own several of these pouches, which are the think tank pouches

 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. I bought these a week ago and was very pleased having but a concern for people is the zippers are quite hard to pull and may be get dirty but overall very well backpack.

I like the style and the look of it

Great Buy for a College or High School Student

 The "Mid Volume" doesn't have the interior mesh pockets in the front compartment, however, the main compartment is comparable to the larger one with the laptop pocket, the sunglasses compartment etc. It is smaller though and I think better for a city commuter vs a student. If you're a student definitely make sure you get the larger backpack if you plan to hold a lot if not all of your books and if you're just using it for light travel/commuter purposes the Mid Volume is the way to go. I hope this clears everything up! I was very confused by the different size in the beginning but now I love it it's perfect for my commuting needs

There are 2 different sizes - They aren't fake

  Overall impression: -For daily use, I think this bag will be perfect. Great style, very sleek look, functionally sound, and it will do the job. However, this is definitely not something I would take with me hiking or to pack with things completely, I'd be scared of ripping the material. For the $70-80 price tag, great looking and functional bag, but don't expect an infinitely spacious and durable bag

 -The inside of the main pocket is a very soft material and more spacious than expected. This includes a laptop pocket, well padded and easily fits my 13.3inch laptop and charger. -The pockets come with waterproof zipper covers

Arrived broken, seemed liked the strap wasn't stitched properly. Poor quality, I was expecting this as one of the better bags out there but I'm totally disappointed. I'd rather throw this in the garbage bin instead of returning it. Waste of time and money, not worth the hassle of returning and contacting customer service

 It doesn't have any sort of fabric lip covering it so nice to see that herschel added that water resistance. Here in case, you want to put something a little bit more delicate, and this compartment is just really simple: there's no internal organization or anything like that, but I do like that it offers a good amount of space. If you want to put something slightly bulk here in here, and so currently, what I have in here is my Apple Magic Mouse, and then I also have my UTech wireless charger for my phone and so there's still a good amount of leftover space in here. As I mentioned, this is a really simple pocket, no internal organization or anything like that, but just a great way to access anything

 The fleece lining definitely feels like it's gon na help keep the laptop protected from scratches. One thing I absolutely love about this laptop compartment is is elevated off the bottom. So that's super important to me for any laptop compartment is that it makes sure to keep my laptop off the ground so that, if I put it down or if I drop it or something like that, it keeps the laptop protected. So really love to see that the laptop compartment here is pretty elevated and it also has a good amount of padding on the bottom of the compartment, so it's kind of a double protection there

 The zipper here is very similar to the one on the quick access compartment, so it doesn't have any specific water resistance protection on the zipper itself, but it does have this fabric lip that covers it to help keep water away from the zippers and to help keep The items inside dry and so again it opens very easily and opening this compartment up. It'S a very simple but very spacious compartment. I'Ve been really impressed, as I mentioned, at how much I've actually been able to fit in here on the inside. You can see it has that really nice, red and white lining that makes it very easy to see everything that's on the inside and that's very typical in the herschel bags that I've seen, and I really like that much like b1 plus travel backpack

 If I had to guess, I would say it's about 18 to 20 liters carrying capacity, I've been really impressed with just how much I can actually hold in the bag just looking at it. It doesn't look that big, but I can see why it's been so popular for students over the past couple years, because I can definitely see myself fitting two to three textbooks in here, along with my laptop pretty comfortably. So, even though it looks pretty small, it's deceptive in the amount of stuff that can hold, which has been really impressive to see the bag itself is made out of a durable feeling. I guess polyester material
