 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

 You have another little stretchy area. Here goes all the way to the bottom: a couple zipper pockets here you could put SD cards or batteries or remote shutters or whatever you like there and that's the the camera compartment. I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel.  It'S not like the foam that you would use for your backpack uh straps, it's like a very thick foam, and so they they sent me these, and i actually was able to do the install myself to upgrade this original backpack to be capable of handling a lot More weight and to just improve the frame and that's cool, i think it's important to reuse. You know products like this and to turn them into more functional, updated products when we can so we don't just throw out perfectly viable and useful backpacks and other type of hiking this one. So that's it! That'S my review of the bag. I think it's a great backpack, i i think it's um worth checking these out

 And then here i've got a long, a large version of a telephoto a little bit longer than your traditional 70 to 200, but essentially the the same grouping of lenses all right.  This bag is a 20 liter backpack. It is really a hiking backpack that has a camera core built in, and that is exactly what i was looking for and why was that? What i was looking for? That'S the real question that we want to answer and we want to see these attributes in the bags that we choose for camera gear, so first thing comfortable, straps, obviously right, but the nice padding and the good form and the heavy duty foam.  If you want stuff that needs to stay absolutely dry, this is a well protected area for your important documents and things like that. This bag has been incredibly comfortable. The most comfortable backpack I've ever had that's also a camera bag and, as you can see, this bag expands to infinity. I haven't actually reached a point where this bag is full, where it's overfilled and where it's been too heavy to carry or anything like that

 It opens on the back and you get full access to the whole bag here in the back, and it has a little special feature called the origami compartment here, which basically allows you to turn some storage space into camera space or, like I said, storage space, and You have more volume for other stuff in the back. It'S it's very shallow, I'm an Olympus ambassador and I shoot with Olympus glass, of course, which is small lenses and they fit in perfectly. But if you have slightly bigger lenses, you'll end up putting them in sideways. Like this, I know that for future versions of this backpack there will be it'll, be slightly deeper and then normal full-frame lenses will also fit in upright or the general full frame lens will fit in upright

 They're not just smaller and larger versions of the exact same pack. There are some differences. this one has a laptop compartment on the front. This one has it inside

 They both feature this top flap drawstring top system and then they both have space down in front of the box that actually holds the camera gear and so with compression straps on the sides. Again, this is true for both models. You can stuff the pack as full as you need to and then cinch them down, throw a tripod on the side, and and make it work. Of course, made out of, you know, ripstop nylon

 Back panels are very similar with this sort of ribbed material. It's very comfortable. The biggest thing that I like about the the suspension system here is the waist belt. Now a lot of packs have waist belts

 just like any other outdoor pack you'd expect. They have the same suspension system for the shoulder harnesses here which is great. They both feature internal metal frames which again standard for hiking packs to help distribute the load of the pack down onto your hips rather than on your shoulders. They have or this one has an adjustable velcro thing for adjusting depending on your your torso height which is great can you get a good fit

 Hiked 8.5 miles the first time with the pack on.  I didn't camp overnight and haven't done a multi day trek yet but this pack carries its weight so well with the perfect fit system (which works flawlessly) that I have no doubt this will be beyond comfortable on multi day trips.

First test done

 In that, I succeeded completely. This is a budget-minded backpack that has plenty of volume. The adjustable harness is very nice, fitting my (ahem) "ample" 6'2" 240# frame. Once adjusted, it sits very comfortably: virtually all the weight rides on my hips, the shoulder straps are comfortable and my shoulders do not get tired at all

Compared against the fit and finish of my wife's bag from another manufacturer, I would only give the Redstone 70 3/5 stars. BUT, for the price point at which it stands, I'll bump it up to 4/5 stars. It's a decent starter backpack that will get you and your gear where you want to be, just be ready to accept fewer bells and whistles.

SO, this is my first backpacking pack. I was interested in something that would get me started, but also not break the bank. In that, I succeeded completely. This is a budget-minded backpack that has plenty of volume

 So if the packs on the ground, you can pick it up really easily with those two handles big shove. It pocket here right in the front for extra storage and then convenient little pocket right here. In the front, so you've got some compartments in there. Overall you've got a feature-rich pack that is gon na offer all of the compartments and all of the pockets you need

 So it's a really convenient pass-through behind this nice pocket up here. I'Ve got a pair of heavy gloves tucked away in there, but that's just really convenient storage. If you don't have this pocket full of gear, it just tucks away really nicely so you don't need to use that, but it adds some extra compartments. You have the same thing on the other side of this pack, so if you have a water bottle on that side and then you've got compression straps all over the pack

 You'Ve got women's specific harness here and hip belt, and you've got plenty of padding there and a lot of mesh. This mesh is wide open space or mesh. So that's gon na move warm air out of the way and you've got plenty of padding here in the back panel lots of padding there and you have that channel. That goes through

 You can really get your hands on gear, that's in the top of your pack! Now you also have access into the middle of the pack by this u-shaped zipper here. So the zipper comes all the way down either side and you can access gear that is in the middle to the lower part of your pack. So just got kind of a tent tucked away in there and it you can really access all of that gear and then down on the bottom of the pack also got some more access, and that is what I call sleeping bag compartment you've got two compression straps. There daisy chain and can also store some gear on the bottom if you want to, but I've got just a sleeping bag tucked away in the Bott
