Comfort

Atlas Packs Athlete

(1/2)

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

MYSTERY RANCH 3-Way Expandable Briefcase

(1/1)

Despite hearing from some reviews that the backpack-style carry is not very comfortable. I can confirm that, in my opinion, those review points are false. I think it is very comfortable and I like the way it sits high while wearing in backpack mode. For my use - commuting on a motorcycle to work - it is the perfect solution to have a comfortable backpack for the ride that converts into a more professional looking briefcase carry on arrival to the office

Compartment

MYSTERY RANCH 3-Way Expandable Briefcase

(1/1)

One other quirk about this compartment is that in between the buckle and triangular-shaped zipper, there’s a small gap. We’re not too worried about it, but it is possible that some of your smaller items—think AirPods—may slip out. We doubt this will happen, but it’s something to be aware of.

Size

MYSTERY RANCH 3-Way Expandable Briefcase

(1/1)

I chose this over other brands because of the size (Not too big. The bigger the bag, the more stuff I carry.) and because I have had good experience with Mystery Ranch products in the past. I am glad I did it

Strap

MYSTERY RANCH 3-Way Expandable Briefcase

(1/1)

I dig it now. The internal organization is also well thought out and very useful. The only weak link for me is the shoulder strap. It works fine, but lacks padding and could be a bit wider for better grip and stability
