I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack. 

 A small hole developed in one of the side waterbottle pockets but I can take resposibility for that when I shoved the tip of my trekking pole in there. 

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Even with the camera compartment loaded the back pannel is comfy and I never feel any of the gear inside digging into my back.

 It goes all the way down in the front here, so you reach all the way down into the front of the bag. Right here, there's my hand going all the way in some more dry dry packs, so you can stuff clothes and things all the way down there. It'S got a little laptop sleeve right here in the front it might be hard to see, but you can slide your laptop in there and it sits against the cube, so it stays stays flat and it doesn't kind of jostle around and then here's the frame. So there's the steel frame i was talking about - and this is the large frame and you'll see it goes to here

 You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead. You can just put the medium frame in if you want it to be even a little bit smaller [ Applause ] additional pouch on the inside. It goes to there additional molle webbing and then a nice little spot for your name here, more straps on the inside

 There are also spots here to put in a smaller frame a medium frame. I think this is the large frame you can retrofit this pack to be a medium frame, and the medium frame goes right right here. You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead

 We'Ve got this nice mesh here, but then there's also some ribs. That kind of raise that you know to allow for some more airflow, which i think is really nice, these pockets, which you can pop out [ Applause ] and have extra little pockets here that you can put lenses in things like that. I mentioned lens pouches earlier. In fact, let me grab one of these, so i own several of these pouches, which are the think tank pouches

 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

 The obvious upgrade/advantage is this pack is perfectly thought out to be a climbing specific pack. I put it through a very long and steep approach today and it performed beautifully.

Got a pop up 28 a few month ago as i just need a good comfortable day pack. Opening morning this past weekend, i was lucky enough to get a cow elk archery hunting. Though i had help for the pack out and someone to bring frame packs for the others to use to help, I was able to load up both front quarters on this pack no problem and it did an excellent job. I would have had no problem making 3 trips if needed with this pack to get it out myself

Perfect dayback that is multi-functional when needed.

  Top load and side load option is great.  The heavy duty zippers and 1000D Cordura should last for years to come.

Phenomenal layout and features!

 I will make them work for there intended uses. I have been looking for this answer for 30 years in something that actually fits. Hopefully we can buy the smaller pack without the frame soon.

 It has this meshing material to help prevent moisture from building up. The width of the straps is also really nice, considering the size of the bag. To prevent it from digging into your shoulders, one thing to note about the straps is that they don't include any sort of a sternum strap, but it does look like you have the ability to add one. If you want that additional support moving out of the back telling this was also really comfortable, it has a decent amount of padding and it has the same measure material that we saw on the straps

One thing that I did notice is: there's no sort of elevation to create any air channel, so the bag does tend to get a little bit moist, especially when you're wearing it with a lot of stuff. But it's still been really comfortable and one thing that I really like about it is that it has this sort of curve that fits to your back really nicely

 Testing out the mystery ranch, Robo flip pack. Over the past couple of weeks, the bag has been really comfortable to wear. I really like the simple yet effective layout that it has the 21 liter size is fantastic for EDC and it comes in at a pretty good price, and so you can currently purchase this on mr. e ranches site for about $ 100, which i think is a Pretty good price, considering the features and quality that the bag has to offer

 This sleeve here is a little bit thicker and more padded than the tablet sleeve, so it does feel like it's gon na offer some extra protection. I also like how this sleeve is pulled away off the side, so, regardless of how you might drop your bag, it still feels like it's gon na keep the laptop away from the edges, and then the sleeve itself is meant to hold up to a 15 inch Laptop currently, when I and here's my 13-inch MacBook Pro, but you can see, there's some left over space and near the top for a taller device and then the sleep also comes up a nice amount. So if you have a thicker device, it should be able to fit in here, pretty comfortably so pulling the laptop out now with the compartment empty. You can get a little bit of a better look, so no sort of fleece lining on the inside, which would have been nice to help add that extra bit of protection against scratching

 As you can see, this will pop out and give you an extra bit of space, which is nice. If you need it - and I would imagine if you adding this - you put and load of stuff in then you're - probably already gon na wear on your back as well. So that's that's really cool, then, on the back open this up - and this is where you're gon na stick your laptop. If a 15 inch, it won't fit a 15 inch with a case on in this compartment

 Here again, you can see these YKK Aquaguard zips, which are really nice and you've got. You know just standard stuff going on in here plenty of room and then at the back again, we've got more pockets and organization. There is a ton of stuff going on. So you can kind of use it

 So that's that's really cool, then, on the back open this up - and this is where you're gon na stick your laptop. If a 15 inch, it won't fit a 15 inch with a case on in this compartment. We'Ve had it in the middle here just because we like added protection, you could, by all means just have your laptop without a case in here. There'S plenty of protection going on, but we've had it with a case and just slipped on the middle, which has been fine and then we've got more pockets down here loads of different divider pockets

 Now starting off, we've got you know what you'd expect from mystery ranch really nice materials - and you know, got this really. Nice buckle on the front here which kind of undoes, and you can just zip it open like that, which is really nice all one-handed and all YKK zips on the front here - and you know the craftsmanship has been really good. You can see that first hand. It just feels like a really well-made bag

Mystery Ranch 3 Way Expandable Briefcase Review (Initial Thoughts)

 Add some organization, but for the most part I really like when pockets are this simple, so that I can maybe toss in something like a pouch so because of the size of this, I think I would have been able to fit something like my bag. Smart cable, organizer or my in case accessory pouch, so just a very simple compartment plenty of space. I really like that, even when the main compartment has a lot of stuff in it. This still has enough of its own volume to make it really usable

 Apparently, what I have in here is my ray-bans with their case, and then I also tossed in just my small Gerber, dime multi-tool, and then the last thing that I have in here is my GoPro Hero 3 plus. So, even though this is just meant to be a sunglasses pocket, as you can see plenty of space, even with the items that I had in there, there was still some leftover volume and so no internal organization in this compartment, no sort of felt lining on the Inside so, if you do put your sunglasses in here, I still recommend you use a case, but I really like how much space was offered here to be able to hold some of those bulkier items even like my GoPro, and so this is also going to be A great spot to maybe toss in my wallet and keys while I'm running through TSA, so just really like how much space was offered here and the simplicity of the compartment next up along the front. There'S another quick access compartment, that's a little bit larger than the one that we just looked at, but it has a similarly well-protected zipper and so opening this up. This compartment offers a nice amount of space as far as the depth

 Currently, what I have is my 13 inch MacBook Pro and so pulling that out. You can get a better look at the inside, so a very simple compartment. It does come up a decent amount. If you have a slightly thicker device, it should be able to squeeze in there

 I like that the padding is elevated as well to create some air channels here along the side, and one really nice thing about this bag is that it has a plastic frame sheet that goes all throughout the back, so it really feels like you have a lot Of support when you're wearing this with a lot of weight and on top of that the bag has a nice little curve here that really fits in well into your back. So this sits very nicely against your lower back and offers that extra bit of comfort. So just really great job all around with this back home, as I mentioned, this has been one of the most comfortable bags that we've had so far. One thing that I will mention is that, even though this is elevated, it would have been nice to have some additional air channels here in the middle of the bag
