I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack. 

 A small hole developed in one of the side waterbottle pockets but I can take resposibility for that when I shoved the tip of my trekking pole in there. 

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Even with the camera compartment loaded the back pannel is comfy and I never feel any of the gear inside digging into my back.

 It goes all the way down in the front here, so you reach all the way down into the front of the bag. Right here, there's my hand going all the way in some more dry dry packs, so you can stuff clothes and things all the way down there. It'S got a little laptop sleeve right here in the front it might be hard to see, but you can slide your laptop in there and it sits against the cube, so it stays stays flat and it doesn't kind of jostle around and then here's the frame. So there's the steel frame i was talking about - and this is the large frame and you'll see it goes to here

 You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead. You can just put the medium frame in if you want it to be even a little bit smaller [ Applause ] additional pouch on the inside. It goes to there additional molle webbing and then a nice little spot for your name here, more straps on the inside

 There are also spots here to put in a smaller frame a medium frame. I think this is the large frame you can retrofit this pack to be a medium frame, and the medium frame goes right right here. You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead

 We'Ve got this nice mesh here, but then there's also some ribs. That kind of raise that you know to allow for some more airflow, which i think is really nice, these pockets, which you can pop out [ Applause ] and have extra little pockets here that you can put lenses in things like that. I mentioned lens pouches earlier. In fact, let me grab one of these, so i own several of these pouches, which are the think tank pouches

 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

 You have another little stretchy area. Here goes all the way to the bottom: a couple zipper pockets here you could put SD cards or batteries or remote shutters or whatever you like there and that's the the camera compartment.  The Nomatic can't compare to the quality and smoothness of the zippers found on my 10 yr old Tumi backpack. I'm quickly irritated by "sticky" or flimsy zippers. I gave it an initial 4-stars based on design. If it presented with the build quality of my Tumi I would give it 6 stars and gladly pay more money

 The weight distribution is even and the pack is comfortable to wear. It’s also nice that it slips over the extendable suitcase handle. I’ve been careful with it and so far have not experienced the scratching that others have commented on. So far, loving my bag…

Great travel bag

 which was neat that it came with one, but bag real estate is at a premium for me and the case is just too bulky, so it never gets used. Also, I appreciate all the little pockets and hidden pockets, but I really don’t know what people would use them all for. The magnetic pockets are also cool, but I can really only fit like a basic water bottle in it and not my reusable one. But really that’s it for the negative stuff

There’s NO WAY 3-days with of clothes fits... Yup! It does! And looks sexy as hell doing it!

  I got the compression bag, a tech pouch, and a bag for toiletries to go with it and I absolutely love having the different, removable compartments. Now, when I need something, instead of digging through it and rummaging around like a woman looking for her keys in her purse, I just grab my tech pouch out of my backpack and boom..

  You wouldn't think of this but there are all kinds of different zipper styles and some work better than others. In my old backpack, it took two hands to work the zippers..

 How could I know by looking at a photo if it was going to slide off my shoulder? Finally, I was like "dude...you're on vacation in one of the most beautiful places in the world with your family and you've wasted the whole morning shopping for a backpack

 Getting in and out of the thing was a pain. The zippers on the Nomatic ROCK! And, the material is firm enough that I can easily open and close it with one hand. It's a small thing that makes a huge difference. It's SO much better now

It’s an excellent purchase. The price is high but I’ve been reviewing many backpacks on YouTube, it holds to a 15 inch laptop, and when you store it in the tech pocket (everything can be tech pockets in this backpack) it doesn’t go to the bottom! If you by accident drop your backpack with your laptop the laptop won’t hit the floor because it’s secured and suspended. The outside zippers are ykk and it’s water proof. I travel with my iPad Pro 11 inch with magic keyboard and my MacBook m1 pro without any problems

One of the best backpacks I’ve ever had.

Mine is clearly defective and missing the loops at the bottom for the side straps to hook on. I'm not sure if I should just return or have another one sent to me because it shipped amazon prime and I doubt anyone at Nomatic can actually check if the backpack is defective before sending it out.

..I have had this otherwise awesome backpack since Sept 2018 (4 months of use as a light duty daily commuter pack). I am a big fan of the design features, however the zipper of the expansion feature (which I never use) is pulling apart where the fabric portion of the zipper is sewn into the waterproof material (see photos)

 We open this up, love the updates they've made to the liner as well. It'S kind of a similar material, so it's kind of like a rip, a rip, stop a feel or, like a you know that that liner, typical liner feel but love this heathered material. I think it makes the bag look a lot more refined. I feel like this is definitely kind of the the Travel Pack is drawing up a little bit in this version

 If I pull this one open, I mean yeah, it's like just the sound of it thumbs up. If you want a zipper ass of our channel and then additionally, they changed out the lining on the interior, so yeah before we move on shiny, more Matt, better feel better zippers.  This is why KK, it just sounds, I feel like sounds like higher quality quality I feel like and then with this tarpaulin material and kind of with the zips going on. One of the things we've complained about in the past before with nomadic is that the zips seem to get caught on a lot of their corners and these zoom zips especially do so.
