I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack. 

 A small hole developed in one of the side waterbottle pockets but I can take resposibility for that when I shoved the tip of my trekking pole in there. 

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Even with the camera compartment loaded the back pannel is comfy and I never feel any of the gear inside digging into my back.

 It goes all the way down in the front here, so you reach all the way down into the front of the bag. Right here, there's my hand going all the way in some more dry dry packs, so you can stuff clothes and things all the way down there. It'S got a little laptop sleeve right here in the front it might be hard to see, but you can slide your laptop in there and it sits against the cube, so it stays stays flat and it doesn't kind of jostle around and then here's the frame. So there's the steel frame i was talking about - and this is the large frame and you'll see it goes to here

 You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead. You can just put the medium frame in if you want it to be even a little bit smaller [ Applause ] additional pouch on the inside. It goes to there additional molle webbing and then a nice little spot for your name here, more straps on the inside

 There are also spots here to put in a smaller frame a medium frame. I think this is the large frame you can retrofit this pack to be a medium frame, and the medium frame goes right right here. You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead

 We'Ve got this nice mesh here, but then there's also some ribs. That kind of raise that you know to allow for some more airflow, which i think is really nice, these pockets, which you can pop out [ Applause ] and have extra little pockets here that you can put lenses in things like that. I mentioned lens pouches earlier. In fact, let me grab one of these, so i own several of these pouches, which are the think tank pouches

 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

 You have another little stretchy area. Here goes all the way to the bottom: a couple zipper pockets here you could put SD cards or batteries or remote shutters or whatever you like there and that's the the camera compartment. Best Mirrorless Camera Bag? Atlas Packs Athlete Backpack

 It was too small for me. I’m 6’3” and according to my friend it looked like I “couldn’t afford to buy a whole backpack”. 2. The quick release locking feature on the left strap (used to loop your bag around a chair leg or table while in busy places to avoid theft) was not quick or easy to use the little hook loop was really stiff and took a few minutes to get back in correctly

  The materials and construction are top notch. My only concerns were: 1. It was too small for me. I’m 6’3” and according to my friend it looked like I “couldn’t afford to buy a whole backpack”

Great addition to Osprey’s Lineup

This bag is really for those who do not carry very much stuff (the large is much better suited for those people), and who value minimalism at the loss of some interior organization.

 That in mind, the laptop sleeve is great, which a soft lining and padding that made me much more comfortable not using a second sleeve for my computer. The last compartment inside is a sort of document holder, between the laptop sleeve and the mesh zip-pocket.

 So you can hold this even when the bag is a little bit heavier and then moving into the capacity the bag comes in at about 20 liters, which is a really great daily bag size. In my opinion, i was able to hold all the items that i normally like to carry with me and i still had some leftover space and i love that when the bag was more packed out, it still maintained a really slim silhouette, which made it great for Navigating credit areas jumping onto public transit and carrying on to pretty much any domestic and international airline, taking a look at the straps and the back pedaling so far, the bag has been pretty comfortable to wear. I like how the straps have been implemented here. They have a nice soft and thick padding

 They'Re. Just very functional, looking they're great for the outdoors for travel, but for everyday carry. I like a more minimally styled bag, such as offerings from bellroy, air, mystery ranch or evergoods, and so i was very excited to see osprey, throw their hat into the mix with the arcane day pack. I'Ve been testing this out for the past couple of weeks and in this video i'm going to be talking about my experience and how this compares to some of those other minimal daily bag offerings that i just mentioned
