Comfort

Atlas Packs Athlete

(1/2)

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Hiking

Atlas Packs Athlete

I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack.

Osprey Daylite Daypack

(1/2)

This is a great bag for a short day hike! It held whatever I needed without the bulk. An extra jacket, water bottle, bug spray, suntan lotion and snack and still had extra space. I highly recommend it!

Compartment

Carry-on

Osprey Daylite Daypack

(1/1)

For me this bag is for day hikes, a travel carry on, etc so I didn’t need the extra storage of the plus. I’m also somewhat petite and the plus seemed to look so much larger on women’s backs. I added a pic of the stone gray color because it is a bit more blue than the stock photo lends. I am 5’3”, 118lbs and don’t find the handle at my neck to be diggy

Size

Osprey Daylite Daypack

(1/1)

In my photo I have a laptop, 2 laptop chargers, and two note pads in the bag. Cons: 1. The side pockets are SO tiny! You can't fit a water bottle in the pocket and expect it to not fall out. Things to note: I did read some reviews regarding the size of the bag

Strap

Osprey Daylite Daypack

(1/1)

.when I tighten up the shoulders straps, the top part of the straps where the straps join kinda cuts into the back of my neck. The obvious solution is to loosen the straps so the bag hands little lower, but I like wearing the bags high on my back so that it doesn't tub on my trouser belt. This though depends on how your shoulders are shaped and how high you like to wear your backpacks and in that regard, this is a very minor problem
