Comfort

Atlas Packs Athlete

(1/2)

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Osprey Daylite Plus Pack

(1/3)

For such a small pack, we’re pleased to report that the overall carry is remarkably comfortable and secure. This shouldn’t come as a shock, as Osprey specializes in hiking backpacks and outdoor gear, so they know a thing or two about comfortable and supportive harness systems.

Hiking

Atlas Packs Athlete

I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack.

Osprey Daylite Plus Pack

(1/2)

The older style the outside pockets couldn’t hold a Nalgene and as soon as you bent over or moved with any purpose they always fell out. They finally made the pockets deeper so you no longer have that issue. They have made some other minor changes such as making the top zipper pocket deeper than the older style and the pockets inside the top zipper pocket are now the same material as rest of the bad and not mesh anymore. I’ve used this daypack on a number of hikes and overnight camp outs with the Scouts

Compartment

Osprey Daylite Plus Pack

(1/4)

Moving inside the pack, we’ll start off with the two quick-grab pockets. The first is at the front of the stretch pocket, and the second is at the top.

Carry-on

Osprey Daylite Plus Pack

(1/2)

BUY THIS and let me know if this review is helpful below! I just went to Cambodia and Vietnam for 15 days with just a carry-on roller bag (that I checked) and a backpack. Although I knew this backpack would be comfortable, I was concerned it wouldn't be big enough. I wasn't going to use this bag as a daypack. Instead, I just wanted something that was comfortable to carry things from one place to the other

Size

Osprey Daylite Plus Pack

(1/2)

Compared to my old school Daylite it’s better all around by leaps and bounds. Same height but definitely more space and better pockets in every other direction. Still looks a tad awkward when wearing but carries WAY better than the old daylight. The old Daylight is small, fills up with very little and rides/looks like and undersized turtle shell

Strap

Osprey Daylite Plus Pack

(1/2)

The curved shoulder straps are nicely padded with dense foam and feature narrow gaps for added ventilation. The padding here is the same used in the back panel, which is surprisingly sturdy and sits snug against your back.
