Comfort

Atlas Packs Athlete

(1/2)

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Osprey Daylite Plus Pack Special Edition

(1/2)

For such a small pack, we’re pleased to report that the overall carry is remarkably comfortable and secure. This shouldn’t come as a shock, as Osprey specializes in hiking backpacks and outdoor gear, so they know a thing or two about comfortable and supportive harness systems.

I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack.

Osprey Daylite Plus Pack Special Edition

(1/2)

I bought a second for hiking. I like that the straps are somewhat thin but comfortable. Wearing the pack, since it fits close to my body, feels lighter than my old pack which carried the same amount of equipment but was built shorter and deeper. This pack is more tall and slender

Compartment

Osprey Daylite Plus Pack Special Edition

(1/3)

Moving inside the pack, we’ll start off with the two quick-grab pockets. The first is at the front of the stretch pocket, and the second is at the top.

Carry-on

Osprey Daylite Plus Pack Special Edition

(1/2)

You can't prop this thing up and easily get in and out of it. It's always laying on its front or back like a limp noodle. The "curve" of the bag doesn't allow me to fit things in properly. I feel like I'm stacking everything on top of one another rather than being able to organize the inside in an easy way

Osprey Daylite Plus Pack Special Edition

It's not boxy enough for me and 2. The side pockets are essentially useless. This backpack is really frustrating for me to load. I mainly use it going to and from work, sort of as a purse, in a way

Strap

Osprey Daylite Plus Pack Special Edition

(1/3)

The curved shoulder straps are nicely padded with dense foam and feature narrow gaps for added ventilation. The padding here is the same used in the back panel, which is surprisingly sturdy and sits snug against your back.
