Comfort

Atlas Packs Athlete

(1/2)

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Osprey Eja 58 Pack - Women's

Getting older (76 yrs), I needed to downsize from 60-70 liter and reduce my pack weight... but not too much

Hiking

Atlas Packs Athlete

I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack.

Osprey Eja 58 Pack - Women's

(1/2)

I tried this pack on in the store. I packed it with 25 pounds of my own gear the way I would on the trail. I was looking for a pack that did not pinch my hip bones and this pack was great in this regard. In fact, the hip belt barely touched my hip bones so that was a major plus

Carry-on

Osprey Eja 58 Pack - Women's

(1/2)

We took this pack on our 2 day (packed for 3 days) trip and this pack worked great! I loved the suspension system, it really allowed the breezes to flow through and cool me off in the hot weather. The straps were comfortable and supportive, no rough rubbing on my shoulders and it fit on my hips comfortably. The only downside I saw was there was not a whole lot in the way of organization options as there weren't many pockets.

Strap

Osprey Eja 58 Pack - Women's

(1/1)

There was more than enough space for all of my equipment, and the pack cinched down tightly to keep my pack snugly in place, well balanced, and comfortable. The only thing I wished was different, is that I would have liked to see more adjustability in the chest and shoulder straps. Even when adjusted correctly, the chest strap still sat a little higher on my chest than I would have liked. But overall, I this was a lightweight, spacious, and comfortable pack
