Comfort
Atlas Packs Athlete
Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Comfortable, too. And so far it's holding up well. Yes, the water does get warmer after awhile. But it's still drinkable
Hiking
Atlas Packs Athlete
I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack.
Osprey Katari 1.5 Hydration Pack - Men's
Much easier and less annoying than carrying a big water bottle or letting one hang off a belt. It's easy to fill and use. It carries more than enough water for our usual hikes.
Size
Osprey Katari 1.5 Hydration Pack - Men's
Generally, this pack works we for me. The spout fixture has a cool magnet that allows it to be easily secured to the shoulder strap AND easily remove it to take a drink (no clips to fiddle with). Because I use this for running, the downside is the overall size and weight. I've had other hydration packs that I hardly notice while running, but the padding on the shoulder straps and the overall length of this pack is over-done in my opinion (especially since there really isn't much room for cargo)
Strap

Love the easy chest strap and the solid magnet that holds the mouth piece. Cleans easily and does not leak. Everything I was looking for. Happily recommend this product
