Comfort

Atlas Packs Athlete

(1/2)

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack.

Osprey Talon 11 Pack - Men's

(1/1)

Very good for hiking where (with a relatively light load) I hardly even noticed I wearing pack. No problem climbing rocks or balancing on logs with the weight nice and close to my body. If you're a major minimalist, you could possibly use this for a summer overnight camping trip, but not quite enough space for my complete camping setup (see photo of loaded pack for my attempt). Another real winner from Osprey - this is a great day pack for outdoor adventures of all sorts
