Comfort

Atlas Packs Athlete

(1/2)

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Osprey Tempest Pro 18 Pack - Women's

(1/1)

The Good: -Lightweight -Designed for women specifically -Stylish -Well constructed -Compact -Comfortable to carry -Lidlock system for holding bicycle helmet The Bad: -None The Bottom Line: My wife really likes this Osprey Pro 18 pack. She’s used it many times now sometimes even just to go around town. The backpack is very well constructed and compact at 18L. It is comfortable to carry and designed specifically for women

Hiking

Atlas Packs Athlete

I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack.

Osprey Tempest Pro 18 Pack - Women's

(1/1)

Look at the other hiking backpacks to see that the trekking pole attachment is a clear plastic type attachment point on the shoulder strap and the bottom of the bag. This has NEITHER of those attachemnt points. I do NOT understand why this Tempest 18 has LESS features than the Tempest 20 but yet costs $50.00 MORE
