I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack. 

 A small hole developed in one of the side waterbottle pockets but I can take resposibility for that when I shoved the tip of my trekking pole in there. 

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Even with the camera compartment loaded the back pannel is comfy and I never feel any of the gear inside digging into my back.

 It goes all the way down in the front here, so you reach all the way down into the front of the bag. Right here, there's my hand going all the way in some more dry dry packs, so you can stuff clothes and things all the way down there. It'S got a little laptop sleeve right here in the front it might be hard to see, but you can slide your laptop in there and it sits against the cube, so it stays stays flat and it doesn't kind of jostle around and then here's the frame. So there's the steel frame i was talking about - and this is the large frame and you'll see it goes to here

 You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead. You can just put the medium frame in if you want it to be even a little bit smaller [ Applause ] additional pouch on the inside. It goes to there additional molle webbing and then a nice little spot for your name here, more straps on the inside

 There are also spots here to put in a smaller frame a medium frame. I think this is the large frame you can retrofit this pack to be a medium frame, and the medium frame goes right right here. You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead

 We'Ve got this nice mesh here, but then there's also some ribs. That kind of raise that you know to allow for some more airflow, which i think is really nice, these pockets, which you can pop out [ Applause ] and have extra little pockets here that you can put lenses in things like that. I mentioned lens pouches earlier. In fact, let me grab one of these, so i own several of these pouches, which are the think tank pouches

 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

 I got this specifically for my backpacking trip to the British Isles at the end of summer. This raincover does a very good job at protecting your bag. I experienced rain for several days of my trip and I carried my Daylite Plus as a day bag everywhere I went, I kept all my valuables in it (Laptop, kindle, DSLR.

Overall solid product. I used this item in conjunction with the Osprey Daylite Plus Backpack. I got this specifically for my backpacking trip to the British Isles at the end of summer. This raincover does a very good job at protecting your bag

Kept My Valuables Dry, Just Like It Should

This Osprey rain cover is waterproof and covers the pack completely. Once you have the correct size for your backpack, you will not have to worry about being caught in a storm when trying to enjoy your outing. 

 There is a sturdy handle on the top of this case to carry it easily plus a Velcro closure to keep it packed in.

  As we stated in the previous section, getting the right size for the volume of the pack you own does not leave space for additional things added to the exterior of the pack. We mentioned sleeping pads above. However, there are so many other items to strap to a pack that will not be covered but need it, such as jackets or extra clothing. 

 Some people had problems with getting the correct size for their pack, even with the recommended capacity suggestions. 

8 ounces, the large is 3 ounces, and the extra-large is 3.4 ounces in weight.  As we stated in the previous section, getting the right size for the volume of the pack you own does not leave space for additional things added to the exterior of the pack. We mentioned sleeping pads above

 That frame area is exposed and I have found water to find its way into the main compartment through this spot. No Rain cover is entirely waterproof but if you're worried, I would suggest a pack liner of sorts for extra protection. Overall, I really liek the color and reflective tones and the lightweight pack protection for most wet weather. I would defintely buy another one in the hi Vis style for Bike Commuting

Do You Need a Backpack Rain Cover?

 Now i tell you what this is pretty dang comfortable. Actually, i really like the way this fits. That'S a nice feature with the airscape backpack, the lid turns into a backpack, whereas this one is a lumbar support bag with the lumbar pack removed. Let'S take a look at the backpack itself and you can see how the design of this is different

 As you can see, it opens up fairly wide and you can easily shove your gear inside again. This features water resistant, zippers, you have excellent, draw, pulls all the way around going down. You have gear loops, so you can attach trekking poles, ice axes and so on going down to the bottom here you can see this loop. You also have one on this side with these loops here you can pull them out or you can stow them away

 You have a center buckle. Everything here is fully adjustable, as you would expect there is one pocket. It is on the left side, as you can see here, there's not one on the right side now, everyone. Let me go ahead and put this pack on, so i could show you all the auto lift system, so the waist belt connects just like, so you can adjust it on the fly very simply: sternum strap on okay

 You pull it tight and there you go inside of this bag. You have enough space for water bottles, snack phone battery bank gps unit, even a small hydration bag. Now i tell you what this is pretty dang comfortable. Actually, i really like the way this fits

 It'S really a simple design, there's a simple clip on top right here, and it just rolls out like this there's a couple of pockets inside I'm going to lay it down on the table and we'll go through the contents right now. Okay, this is what the bag looks. Like obviously closed to open. It'S relatively simple, there's a clasp right here, and it just rolls out when you first open it up you'll see that there are four different compartments

 This is typically just when I take for a day, hike or a two day hike. Now, if I'm going like full-blown backpacking, which God knows hasn't happened in a long time, I'm gon na take the medical kit that I did and built out before. There'S a link to that right above here, you can get an idea of the contents. This is a little bit more robust

 The intention of these bags really isn't to be used for hiking and backpacking. I think this is kind of Ospreys travel line where it's meant to be used more as a kind of like I said, adopt kit or a travel kit. This zipper right here, Scott sunscreen chapstick and I have a Bic, lighter look in the Sierras there's a hundred places where you cannot use fire or create a fire unless you have an actual cook kit like a jet boil or something like that. But regardless you know, it's always good to have a lighter for a lot of situations if you have to pop a blister, and you want to sterilize the needles that are in here
