I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack. 

 A small hole developed in one of the side waterbottle pockets but I can take resposibility for that when I shoved the tip of my trekking pole in there. 

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Even with the camera compartment loaded the back pannel is comfy and I never feel any of the gear inside digging into my back.

 It goes all the way down in the front here, so you reach all the way down into the front of the bag. Right here, there's my hand going all the way in some more dry dry packs, so you can stuff clothes and things all the way down there. It'S got a little laptop sleeve right here in the front it might be hard to see, but you can slide your laptop in there and it sits against the cube, so it stays stays flat and it doesn't kind of jostle around and then here's the frame. So there's the steel frame i was talking about - and this is the large frame and you'll see it goes to here

 You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead. You can just put the medium frame in if you want it to be even a little bit smaller [ Applause ] additional pouch on the inside. It goes to there additional molle webbing and then a nice little spot for your name here, more straps on the inside

 There are also spots here to put in a smaller frame a medium frame. I think this is the large frame you can retrofit this pack to be a medium frame, and the medium frame goes right right here. You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead

 We'Ve got this nice mesh here, but then there's also some ribs. That kind of raise that you know to allow for some more airflow, which i think is really nice, these pockets, which you can pop out [ Applause ] and have extra little pockets here that you can put lenses in things like that. I mentioned lens pouches earlier. In fact, let me grab one of these, so i own several of these pouches, which are the think tank pouches

 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here.   When both zippers are locked and then lined up at the top of the bag, you can attach them to the zipper lock, which is a metal bar and closer that essentially locks both zippers closed.  There’s even a tiny hole on the bag lock so you can put a keyed or combination lock in there or even a locking cable to keep it locked until you’re ready to open it.  

  There’s a handy loop at the top for grab-and-go and the straps are nicely adjustable, as are the sternum and waist straps.

  Pacsafe did give thought to bearing weight because there is a sternum strap and a waist strap to help distribute the load.  It almost doesn’t make sense that the straps aren't comfortable enough under load.    It almost seems like an oversight.  Either a little more padding and/or a little more width to the straps would do the trick

A good, solid bag with great anti-theft features

This pack does everything I need it to: it's comfy (I'm only 5'3 and it didn't feel too big), it's crazy secure (what PacSafe is known for), it looks sleek & cool, it has lots of handy pockets, and it's lightweight.

Great commuter pack

  I have been pleasantly surprised at the comfort riding in the heat; I haven't actually noticed much difference compared to my dedicated bike-commuting pack that has an integrated suspension system to hold it away from your back.  I'm guessing this has to do with the low profile of the Pacsafe Vibe that keeps it from totally covering your whole back.  I'm 5' 9" and a lean build and have found the pack very comfortable.  The laptop pouch (which doubles to hold your hydration bladder) securely holds a 13-14" laptop with great padding

However, as a hiking backpack this bag leaves a bit to be desired. The straps offer cross-body stabilization, but minimal padding. The bag also lacks external loops for additional gear/trekking pole attachment.

Great for airline travel, but not hiking

 If i did have this main compartment pretty packed out, but in general, both compartments are pretty easy to access. You know just because the zipper pulls are right next to each other, and then, if you don't have this locking system in you can get in there really quick, so just sort of varies depending on what you prefer and then opening up this main compartment. It'S kind of like a half little clam shell here, it's like a half moon opening and then there's a little bit of a gusset to give you extra space without making it so that it just completely falls open when you open it up so in here i Just have you know a packing cube, but i would just add you know whatever i needed for that day in here that, like i said, there's a fair amount of space with that 10 liters and then on this side of it there's a bit of organization. For you, so there is a pen silo

 But the lower half of it is sort of where it starts to shine again with that extra security, and things like that. So these these straps here have slash guard as well. So there is like an additional wire on the inside. You can kind of see it as i pull it up

 So what that essentially, is it's like stainless steel wires that make it harder for somebody to just like slash and run your pack. If you don't want the polyester version, there are some other alternative options online. There'S a at the time of this video there's a nylon and other recycled materials as well, some of which are made from water bottles, some of which are made from um like leftover fishing nets. So that's pretty cool if sustainability is something that you really like to focus on as well, so i'll just kind of walk you through the features on this pack here the outside here on the zippers these zippers here ykk - and here we have the rhubar support, locking System which essentially just works to keep these zipper, pulls from being able to be unzipped by anybody anytime anywhere
