 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

 You have another little stretchy area. Here goes all the way to the bottom: a couple zipper pockets here you could put SD cards or batteries or remote shutters or whatever you like there and that's the the camera compartment.  It'S not like the foam that you would use for your backpack uh straps, it's like a very thick foam, and so they they sent me these, and i actually was able to do the install myself to upgrade this original backpack to be capable of handling a lot More weight and to just improve the frame and that's cool, i think it's important to reuse. You know products like this and to turn them into more functional, updated products when we can so we don't just throw out perfectly viable and useful backpacks and other type of hiking this one. So that's it! That'S my review of the bag. I think it's a great backpack, i i think it's um worth checking these out

 And then here i've got a long, a large version of a telephoto a little bit longer than your traditional 70 to 200, but essentially the the same grouping of lenses all right. You throw this thing on and you can walk for miles and you don't even feel the weight and why is it so comfortable? That'S the real question that we want to answer and we want to see these attributes in the bags that we choose for camera gear, so first thing comfortable, straps, obviously right, but the nice padding and the good form and the heavy duty foam.  If you want stuff that needs to stay absolutely dry, this is a well protected area for your important documents and things like that. This bag has been incredibly comfortable. The most comfortable backpack I've ever had that's also a camera bag and, as you can see, this bag expands to infinity. I haven't actually reached a point where this bag is full, where it's overfilled and where it's been too heavy to carry or anything like that

 It opens on the back and you get full access to the whole bag here in the back, and it has a little special feature called the origami compartment here, which basically allows you to turn some storage space into camera space or, like I said, storage space, and You have more volume for other stuff in the back. It'S it's very shallow, I'm an Olympus ambassador and I shoot with Olympus glass, of course, which is small lenses and they fit in perfectly. But if you have slightly bigger lenses, you'll end up putting them in sideways. Like this, I know that for future versions of this backpack there will be it'll, be slightly deeper and then normal full-frame lenses will also fit in upright or the general full frame lens will fit in upright

 They're not just smaller and larger versions of the exact same pack. There are some differences. this one has a laptop compartment on the front. This one has it inside

 They both feature this top flap drawstring top system and then they both have space down in front of the box that actually holds the camera gear and so with compression straps on the sides. Again, this is true for both models. You can stuff the pack as full as you need to and then cinch them down, throw a tripod on the side, and and make it work. Of course, made out of, you know, ripstop nylon

 Back panels are very similar with this sort of ribbed material. It's very comfortable. The biggest thing that I like about the the suspension system here is the waist belt. Now a lot of packs have waist belts

 just like any other outdoor pack you'd expect. They have the same suspension system for the shoulder harnesses here which is great. They both feature internal metal frames which again standard for hiking packs to help distribute the load of the pack down onto your hips rather than on your shoulders. They have or this one has an adjustable velcro thing for adjusting depending on your your torso height which is great can you get a good fit

 We have a simple grab handle for picking up and off the ground, and now we come to our main compartment. Now the main compartment is a really big and accessible top loading compartment. You can take the flap down almost completely to see all of your gear, which is really useful inside I've just got some of my essentials. I'Ve got a rain jacket, a tie and short jacket from Patagonia

 Just a nice clean silhouette - and here we have a quick access, zippered pocket now this compartment doesn't have any organization inside to help you organize gear. It'S just a quick stash area for little bits and pieces inside I have my little Leatherman. I also have some solid-state cologne, my keys and then at the top of the bag. There is a little loop here to add on some gear I've just put in my Nomad lightning charging cable, which is really handy

 Apart from to the padded 15-inch laptop compartment, this is my 13 inch MacBook Pro Retina and it fits in there with room to spare. Now, this laptop compartment is a suspended laptop compartment, which means that there is about an inch of space between the base of the bag and the laptop compartment. So, in the case that you might accidentally drop, your laptop there'll be a little bit of buffer before that impact reaches your laptop. So that's really handy

 We have two accessory loops one on each side. On the left side, we have a Patagonia, p6 logo and coming a bit further down, we have standard, do reflects ladder, locks useful for adjusting the tightness of the back at the top. We have a simple grab handle for picking up and off the ground, and now we come to our main compartment. Now the main compartment is a really big and accessible top loading compartment

Easy, Simple, Stash & Grab - The Patagonia Arbor Day Pack 20L

Unfortunately, on the simplicity part Patagonia went too far…at some point too basic becomes inadequate.  First, the shoulder straps are flimsy and the padding is hard, akin to those you find on a cheapo Walmart daypack…they hurt your shoulders when you are loaded with 25L of stuff.  Making them slightly wider and softer would make a big difference.  Patagonia is a quality brand, so why would they compromise on such #1 backpack essential?  Secondly, it’s got no side pockets

  It’s got a slim profile to avoid bumping to others while getting through, but despite that, it’s got a flat bottom and can stand upright on its own (well, barely…make sure to fill the bottom corners well, and it will stand, but don’t breathe on it too hard while at it, or it will fall flat on its face…).  Seems like it hits the sweet spot between the size, weight, and functionality.

  It’s got a waist strap.  Good volume, but if you don’t fill it fully, the top can be collapsed and it qualifies as a personal item on an airplane if need to. Great product - great disappointment

This backpack is so spacious! I have primarily been using it for hiking/camping and climbing. It can fit all the gear I need and then some. It's very durable and seems like it would hold up well in rainy/wet conditions.

I needed a new backpack for school, I hadn't bought one in almost 5 years so I've been waiting and waiting to find the perfect one. This is definitely it! It's perfectly fits my laptop and books without being too clunky or heavy. I was worried about the size being a little too small but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it's a really great size! I'm happy I found this on sale, since Patagonia is usually so expensive.

Beautiful, simple pack

 There's no sternum strap on this thing, which is kind of disappointing; however, you do have two loops going on here if you'd like to add any carabiner clips to them. You could possibly rig up a sternum strap if you wanted to, as well. There's also a waist strap, which isn't that comfortable and doesn't offer a lot of support. Is is decent to have? Sure, but it doesn't offer a ton of support

 And For any of our keen viewers out there,, the newer version of the Arbor Packs do not have any leather lash tabs on them, making them a little bit more sustainable as they don't use any animal products. From A branding perspective,: there are two logos on this thing. One is in the front here and another is on the back where the strap is. Not A bad one to represent, Patagonia is a forward-thinking and sustainable brand
