Comfort

Atlas Packs Athlete

(1/2)

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L

Overall a great product. Shoulder straps are not as comfortable as they should be, and extra padding would make it more pleasant. Black was my choice

Hiking

Atlas Packs Athlete

(1/1)

I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack.

Compartment

Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L

(1/1)

The internal compartmentation is truly flexibly, but appropriate for small lenses (more details below). When creating a lateral compartment by raising a portion of the dividers, clearly objects places in the outer sections tend to roll out when unzipping the backpack. I recommend to always keep it in mind and access the interior of the backpack with great care. My current setup consists in keeping my EOS R attached to a lens in the upper section accessible via the opening at the top, with lenses (not more than 2) in the two lower compartments

Carry-on

Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L

(1/1)

On top of the poorly threaded straps the magnetic latch is made of anodized aluminum and the paint can easily be scratched off as you can see by the pictures, again haven't had this bag for more than a day and it's showing wear and tear of at least a year.

Size

Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L

(1/2)

Cons: * The laptop/tablet pouch is WAY too tight/small. * The main compartment has very little leniency for stretching in/out.

Strap

Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L

(1/1)

The media could not be loaded. So as the video here shows, the shoulder straps that came with the Backpack just broke off. The backpack was delivered to me at 10 this morning and broke at 1:45 as I was walking. Walking
