Atlas Packs Athlete
Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.
It is very comfortable, the materials are of good quality, it is neither too big nor too small, perfect for what I need. It is travel friendly and does not weigh much, I recommend it.
* The pouch in the lower portion of the bag isn't exactly easy to pull in and out through the side access even when it's empty. I may go looking for a pouch from another vendor that will slide in and out with ease. * I even find the side sling-style access on the side difficult to use. The pouch is very difficult to slide in and out of the lower portion and the access to the upper portion is not exactly easy
I wanted to like this bag so much. It's a little big for my back as a petit woman, but what didn't work for me is that with all the customization capabilities, it has no way to customize a large vertical protected pocket for a Sony 200-600, and have the other side customized for smaller lenses. On or two vertical separators would have been nice. For smaller lenses, it might be fine
