Medium size for my 35 degree sleeping bag just fits. I would say for backpacking where every inch counts they make a difference as you can see. For car camping I will just use the provided sleeping bag stuff sack because it will be easier for the family to pack up their own sleeping bags. After opening it up there was No water or moisture inside! These are not made to be held underwater and did not test it under those conditions. After a 3 day hike with lots of opening/closing/cramming in my bag, this item held up with no signs of faulting. I would recommend this bag and any of the dry storage bags from Frelaxy. I will most likely invest in a multipack to get some different sizes for future trips!
