Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack.

There are several features that I think could really improve this pack. I would really like for k9 to make a pack that has an integrated pocket for up to a 3L bladder. I was able to rig together a solution to carry 3 L of water and my 25lb pup for our long desert hikes, but it is definitely suboptimal. I also wish that the spine length was adjustable

We love all the compartments and the thoughtful features like a built in potty bag dispenser and mesh vented sides so they don’t overheat. The straps are nice and padded so it’s comfortable for the humans and we really appreciate the added security of front buckles. Excellent backpack with so many features! Highly recommend!

Your packs are extremely well made and I really like that the straps securely hold him in. He got a biscuit at a drivethru and I made his picture into a meme. Thank you for making a product that allows me to bring my adorable side kick with me safely.

Even though we’re currently living in Florida, most of our experiences at Outdoor Dog World are in Oregon and California, where we’re out hiking with our dogs

Wish I could give six stars! I love how the shoulder straps can be adjusted to fit my body better and the extra padding they added to it. Fantastic quality. We'll be using it tons more as soon as it warms up.
