I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack. 

 A small hole developed in one of the side waterbottle pockets but I can take resposibility for that when I shoved the tip of my trekking pole in there. 

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Even with the camera compartment loaded the back pannel is comfy and I never feel any of the gear inside digging into my back.

Right here, there's my hand going all the way in some more dry dry packs, so you can stuff clothes and things all the way down there. It'S got a little laptop sleeve right here in the front it might be hard to see, but you can slide your laptop in there and it sits against the cube, so it stays stays flat and it doesn't kind of jostle around and then here's the frame. So there's the steel frame i was talking about - and this is the large frame and you'll see it goes to here

 You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead. You can just put the medium frame in if you want it to be even a little bit smaller [ Applause ] additional pouch on the inside. It goes to there additional molle webbing and then a nice little spot for your name here, more straps on the inside

 There are also spots here to put in a smaller frame a medium frame. I think this is the large frame you can retrofit this pack to be a medium frame, and the medium frame goes right right here. You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead

 We'Ve got this nice mesh here, but then there's also some ribs. That kind of raise that you know to allow for some more airflow, which i think is really nice, these pockets, which you can pop out [ Applause ] and have extra little pockets here that you can put lenses in things like that. I mentioned lens pouches earlier. In fact, let me grab one of these, so i own several of these pouches, which are the think tank pouches

 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

Best Mirrorless Camera Bag? Atlas Packs Athlete Backpack

 Here are the things that I like about the bag: 1. Separate laptop compartment - This was a must have as it makes going through airport security so much easier. The backpack has a compartment along the back that fits my 15'' macbook pro as well as a letter sized journal. The zipper goes down the side of the backpack, and it's is close to the strap at the bottom, so it can sometimes get a little tangled getting the laptop in and out, but it's infinitely easier than it would be if there wasn't a laptop compartment

I used this backpack for my carry on bag for an international trip. I love that it unzips all the way around to open like a suitcase. I was able to pack a change of clothes, pjs, toiliteries, medicine, my iPad and chargers, water bottle and necklace pillow. Yes, I did pack all of this into this back pack

Swap Your Carry on Bag for This Backpack

 I buy things for quality and for the price I paid, you’d think I’d get something of higher quality. The zipper for the main compartment is sharp on the back end. It unzips fine, but when you zip it back up, it gets caught on the fabric every once or so making it super hard to zip back up. I would return this, but I got it and paid for 1 day shipping as I have a work trip to go on tomorrow so this is really annoying for me to have a faulty piece and not be able to have the time to do anything about it

Super Frustrated with Quality.

 This is great because it has a sleeve to slip over the handles of a suitcase making it easier to lug just one bag on and off trains, buses etc. It opens like a suitcase, making it easier to pack and not lose everything in the bottom of the bag. Quality seems good for the price and it's pretty light weight. I should be able to throw it on my back as long as I don't over load it

I bought this to take as my carry-on. I didn't want anything with wheels because I will be on an extended European vacation and will have a large wheeled suitcase. Needed a weekend bag, that was backpack type personal bag size for the airline I flew and this was perfect! I was able to fit 2 outfits, a pair of sandals and my toiletry pack with no issues, while still able to pack souvenirs I brought back with me. Roomy and lots of space, I have no complaints about this bag. Also it's very comfortable to carry with the padded straps. Swissgear may be my new brand of go to bags

 Pack straps include a slit to slide it over the handle of my carryon so I could take it off my shoulder when I wanted. I can't over-recommend it.

 It also doesnt feel all that durable. The fabric is thin and the zippers feel cheap. But like I said, I was willing to compromise on these things because the size and suitcase style entry were the most important things for me.  The side compression straps are great for holding down a jacket on the outside of the bag, or hanging my travel pillow off of

 The problem with most of the travel backpacks I found was that they were just too big, or laptop backpacks were just not big enough. I didnt want something that just looks like I strapped a carry-on onto my back. This is the PERFECT SIZE.  I like that it opens like a suitcase for the main compartment

 So it's not elevated off the bottom of the ground, but it does seem to have a little bit of reinforcing here to help keep your device protected. Even when you place your bag down a little bit harder and so pulling my laptop out now with the compartment empty, you can get a better look at the inside and it comes up a decent amount. So if you have a thicker device, it should be able to fit in here. Okay, one thing that I will mention is that, as you start to pack out the main area, a little bit more, you can start to feel some balding

 But you do have these straps here, where you can attach additional accessories, such as a bike light, or maybe hang your pair of sunglasses and then as far as the back pedaling. This is also felt great. It has a nice amount of padding, it's really thick, and I really like how elevated this padding is to create this air channel here to help with air flow, while you're walking around throughout the day, so between the straps and the back coming in the carry-on this Bag is felt really nice, even when it's been a little bit or packed out, and then the last thing I'll mention while we're on the backline is that it also has this really nice luggage pass through here to allow you to rest this on your carry-on luggage, While you're walking around the airport to save some weight on your back and then continuing on with the organizational options, the bag has a lot of really nice pocketing all throughout and it has a few quick access areas on the outside. So, first up near the handle, you have a smaller zippered compartment

 The compartment has a nice amount of elasticity, as you can see here, on the outside. So if you have something a little bit thicker, it should be able to fit in there. Okay, the compartment is a little bit shorter than I would like to see for a taller water bottle, like the one that I had in here, but it's nice that there are these compression straps on the outside. If you want to put something a little bit taller, such as a tripod, you should be able to secure it using this strap, and then these straps are also gon na, be really helpful for compressing the bag down, if it's not quite as full or for hanging On an additional accessories, such as a jacket or an extra pair of shoes and then jumping into the capacity of the bag, comes in at around 23 to 25 liters, which is a really versatile size
