I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack. 

 A small hole developed in one of the side waterbottle pockets but I can take resposibility for that when I shoved the tip of my trekking pole in there. 

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Even with the camera compartment loaded the back pannel is comfy and I never feel any of the gear inside digging into my back.

 It goes all the way down in the front here, so you reach all the way down into the front of the bag. Right here, there's my hand going all the way in some more dry dry packs, so you can stuff clothes and things all the way down there. It'S got a little laptop sleeve right here in the front it might be hard to see, but you can slide your laptop in there and it sits against the cube, so it stays stays flat and it doesn't kind of jostle around and then here's the frame. So there's the steel frame i was talking about - and this is the large frame and you'll see it goes to here

 You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead. You can just put the medium frame in if you want it to be even a little bit smaller [ Applause ] additional pouch on the inside. It goes to there additional molle webbing and then a nice little spot for your name here, more straps on the inside

 There are also spots here to put in a smaller frame a medium frame. I think this is the large frame you can retrofit this pack to be a medium frame, and the medium frame goes right right here. You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead

 We'Ve got this nice mesh here, but then there's also some ribs. That kind of raise that you know to allow for some more airflow, which i think is really nice, these pockets, which you can pop out [ Applause ] and have extra little pockets here that you can put lenses in things like that. I mentioned lens pouches earlier. In fact, let me grab one of these, so i own several of these pouches, which are the think tank pouches

 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

 You have another little stretchy area. Here goes all the way to the bottom: a couple zipper pockets here you could put SD cards or batteries or remote shutters or whatever you like there and that's the the camera compartment.  Also, I didn't want to check a bag, and if I was going to carry two things onto a plane, I needed something bigger than my briefcase.  I didn't want to get a backpack -- although they're not uncommon on adults, they don't strike me as particularly professional. But it seemed like the only solution, so I decided to make the most of it. Turns out that the reviews were right, and this was the right bag for me

 (I didn't test this feature, and I don't recommend that you do, either.)  4. Comfortable straps. My shoulders are not narrow, and the straps were very comfortable on them

  3. The padded laptop space. I could fit my 13" ultrabook, the power supply, and various other wires into the laptop compartment. It has strong foam shock absorbers at the bottom, so you could drop your bag and it would help protect your computer

If you have to use a backpack, this is the one to get

My main beef though is the craftsmanship. Within 3 months the seam on the shoulder straps started fraying..

I have had this product for less than a year. It is great when you travel as you don't have to remove your laptop at TSA station at airports making it very convenient. Storage is adequate although a pocket in the main compartment has an elastic strap that things do tend to slip out off.

Nice concept poor execution

Overall, this is a phenomenal backpack with the perfect combination of space for personal items and a laptop. The materials are strong, the compartments are functional, and as I've taken this around the world in the past month, it has worked very well, to include fitting over the rails of my carry-on roller.  Pros: - great storage for laptops; nice rubber padded sides/backs for extra protection. Separate area is great - Zip flat worked perfectly - Other compartments are functional for small items--pens, passports, cards, medicene and for large items--books, power packs, binders/folders

Great Pack for World Travel

Not near the quality of my old targus product. i personaly dont thing the zip thru function on this or even the high end bags is worth the space loss. main issue is that the bag was too small for my use with loss of space

Not bad for the money

[, Music ], hey guys today, we're gon na be taking a look at the targets: mobile VIP checkpoint, friendly, laptop backpack, which is a really nice looking and well organized bag. That I think, is gon na, be particularly appealing for the road warrior and just working professional. That are constantly traveling and on the go, and so I've been using this for the past couple of weeks and so far it's been a pretty good experience. The bag has been very comfortable and there are some interesting features that I'm excited to share with you guys

 Currently, what I have in here is my iPad Mini 2 and that fit in there very easily a definitely thing you could fit a full-sized 10-inch tablet here and then below that there is another larger slit pocket. That probably would have worked well for a notebook. Currently, what I have here is just my Kindle and that fits in there very easily, no sort of fleece lining on either of these compartments, just very simple slip, areas to help keep things separated. Next, to that there is another smaller slit pocket with a little bit of depth

 On top of that, the bag has an adjustable sternum strap to help distribute the load when it's fully packed out a nice additional feature on the straps. Is that if you don't want to use the sternum strap, you can actually tuck it away into these little pockets? That it has here - or maybe you can use this for a smaller accessory or to hang your sunglasses continuing on with the back pilling. This is also really comfortable. I love how the padding is implemented here

 It comes up. A nice amount, it's very soft. It has the same meshing material that we saw on the straps and then that elevation creates this nice air channel to help keep air flowing throughout the day. So just a really great job, all throughout of offering a very comfortable carry while we're on the back paneling
