I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack. 

 A small hole developed in one of the side waterbottle pockets but I can take resposibility for that when I shoved the tip of my trekking pole in there. 

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Even with the camera compartment loaded the back pannel is comfy and I never feel any of the gear inside digging into my back.

 It goes all the way down in the front here, so you reach all the way down into the front of the bag. Right here, there's my hand going all the way in some more dry dry packs, so you can stuff clothes and things all the way down there. It'S got a little laptop sleeve right here in the front it might be hard to see, but you can slide your laptop in there and it sits against the cube, so it stays stays flat and it doesn't kind of jostle around and then here's the frame. So there's the steel frame i was talking about - and this is the large frame and you'll see it goes to here

 You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead. You can just put the medium frame in if you want it to be even a little bit smaller [ Applause ] additional pouch on the inside. It goes to there additional molle webbing and then a nice little spot for your name here, more straps on the inside

 There are also spots here to put in a smaller frame a medium frame. I think this is the large frame you can retrofit this pack to be a medium frame, and the medium frame goes right right here. You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead

 We'Ve got this nice mesh here, but then there's also some ribs. That kind of raise that you know to allow for some more airflow, which i think is really nice, these pockets, which you can pop out [ Applause ] and have extra little pockets here that you can put lenses in things like that. I mentioned lens pouches earlier. In fact, let me grab one of these, so i own several of these pouches, which are the think tank pouches

 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

 You have another little stretchy area. Here goes all the way to the bottom: a couple zipper pockets here you could put SD cards or batteries or remote shutters or whatever you like there and that's the the camera compartment. Best Mirrorless Camera Bag? Atlas Packs Athlete Backpack

  Cons I wish the waist fabric things were the smaller size, as I don't keep it buckled in very often and they get in the way if I forget to buckle them behind the pack. Did not come with delicious bacon. One of the drink holders is slightly smaller than the other, making it more effort to get my large size (in diameter) nalgene bottle in it. It still fits, but it's hard to put in one handed while its still on my back, the other pocket is easier like I said

This Pack is amazing. It's low-priced, high quality and a perfect size.

 A rain cover is also stored at the bottom. It is big enough to cover the whole pack and is easy to get to (and store away) if you needed it on the fly. All the straps and buckles are of good quality. The backpack is very well designed with comfort in mind

 Between that and the hip belt, it takes all the stress off of my shoulders. Speaking of shoulders, these straps have a nice curve to them that contours to my body. I will definitely recommend this backpack to friends and family to join me for a hike.

 All the straps and buckles are of good quality. The backpack is very well designed with comfort in mind. I especially like the ability to adjust the torso in order to get it positioned just right for me. The Lumbar padding feels really good on my lower back

The Teton Sports Scout3400 Backpack has given me the enthusiasm to get out on the trails. The pack itself is super lightweight. Coming in at only 4.5 pounds, it allows me to pack it full of supplies while not weighing me down too much

 A few zips and one side finally opened up like normal, but even when this pack isn't packed, it's difficult to zip up without feeling like the zipper seam is going to maybe come apart, let alone if your pack is full. It hasn't busted on me yet (only packed it full once so we'll see) so I'm not marking my review down to three stars yet, but yeah, those zippers just feel like they're going to give the first time you don't take care to zip everything up carefully.  Anyways, overall, it's a nice pack. I'd say worth the money

Bad Zippers, Everything Else Nice

 I like that it is built well. I like all the compression straps. I like the sleeping bag compression straps. I like that the bottom sleeping bag compartment can unzip to open up to the main compartment

 It is affordable, big, and will definitely pack enough gear for 48 hours, maybe a little more. If you're big on wanting to attach other molle packs, this is not for you. There is nothing "tactical" about this bag, mounting knives is a pain. Worth the price in my opinion, just not top of the line

Teton backpack

  Pros: • Seems durable • Separate sleeping back compartment (I use for my underquilt) • 2 side pockets • 2 lid pockets Cons: • Heavy • Water bottle pockets could be angled forward, but they do fit 1 liter smart water bottles perfect • Mesh pocket on back doesn’t fit much, I’d rather have a zippered pocket or bigger mesh pocket, but that would add weight.
