Comfort
Atlas Packs Athlete
Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.
Timbuk2 Launch Pack
Inside is bright green so you you can see well. Light weight. Small so you don't look dorky with a huge backpack. Pockets are great
Hiking
Atlas Packs Athlete
I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack.
Timbuk2 Launch Pack
It held up some parks where it dragged on the rocks at Zion National Park on the Angel's Landing Trail.

Timbuk2 Launch Pack
At the very top of the bag is a thick handle with lots of padding that’s comfortable to grab and convenient for picking up the pack when you need to move it or get something out. It also features that same seat belt-like material you’ll find on the shoulder straps that’s nice and smooth in hand.
