I also purchased a Capture Clip from Peak Designs which allows you to fix the camera to the shoulder strap in place while hiking – a great addition to this pack. 

 A small hole developed in one of the side waterbottle pockets but I can take resposibility for that when I shoved the tip of my trekking pole in there. 

Important: Choose the Adventure or Athlete hip belt – otherwise you will have literally no padding on your hips. I don’t recommend using the bag without a hipbelt either. The Adventure belt is more comfortable as it provides two layers of foam padding and a wider webbing and buckle – it’s also bigger and bulkier.

Even with the camera compartment loaded the back pannel is comfy and I never feel any of the gear inside digging into my back.

 It goes all the way down in the front here, so you reach all the way down into the front of the bag. Right here, there's my hand going all the way in some more dry dry packs, so you can stuff clothes and things all the way down there. It'S got a little laptop sleeve right here in the front it might be hard to see, but you can slide your laptop in there and it sits against the cube, so it stays stays flat and it doesn't kind of jostle around and then here's the frame. So there's the steel frame i was talking about - and this is the large frame and you'll see it goes to here

 You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead. You can just put the medium frame in if you want it to be even a little bit smaller [ Applause ] additional pouch on the inside. It goes to there additional molle webbing and then a nice little spot for your name here, more straps on the inside

 There are also spots here to put in a smaller frame a medium frame. I think this is the large frame you can retrofit this pack to be a medium frame, and the medium frame goes right right here. You can see that so there's the sizing for the large frame there's the sizing for the medium frame. Now it will fit under uh under an airline seat as it is in the large frame and will also fit in the overhead

 We'Ve got this nice mesh here, but then there's also some ribs. That kind of raise that you know to allow for some more airflow, which i think is really nice, these pockets, which you can pop out [ Applause ] and have extra little pockets here that you can put lenses in things like that. I mentioned lens pouches earlier. In fact, let me grab one of these, so i own several of these pouches, which are the think tank pouches

 Is this bag just cinches down into a much smaller footprint, because there's a lot of bags out there? It'S a 40 60 liter pack, whatever it is, you might only have 15 or 20 liters in the bag or maybe only you're, only using a quarter of its carry capacity, but the footprint of the bag or main is the same so that be able to have A pack that can really kind of switch squish down into a smaller footprint to me is everything, that's a very, very good quality, so just to jump right into it. Of course, this is the the yellow version. This is the also the tall version it comes in a regular size and I'm 6 foot 2, so that the tall version works perfect for me and just right on the outside, you have these straps up here, so you can strap really any additional items. You would like to it there's also a pocket whoops right here on the front

 Alice is a great job with the the comfortable comfort ability of their harness system and their waist belt, and you might be noticing something no words the waist belt with this. What'S what is fantastic Atlas gives you the option that you can take it on or off. It'S up to you and they make great West waist belts very meaty. There'S a lot of material here, a lot of a lot of substance and durability, so they're very good at the waist belts

 I just want to talk about this real quick on the the back panel. It'S kind of got like a rib design and it is very comfortable and it's got like kind of exaggerated lumbar area right here, which makes carrying this bag very comfortable and in the waist belt, actually tucks right back in here. Let me actually show you on the other bag, so they sent me to. This is a athlete pack and black, but what's different is this one is the regular version

 You have another little stretchy area. Here goes all the way to the bottom: a couple zipper pockets here you could put SD cards or batteries or remote shutters or whatever you like there and that's the the camera compartment. Best Mirrorless Camera Bag? Atlas Packs Athlete Backpack

Love the size, simplicity, and versatility of this pack. I've used it most often for commuting and as a soccer bag to carry my gear for weekly beer league games. So it's great at holding my laptop, water bottle and other work necessities as well as soccer cleats, canned beverages, and a hydration pack. And the bright colors make it easy to spot and identify

Use it for everything!

  Holds it shape well filled or partially filled.  Zippers are top notch.  Lots of loops to clip gear. 

 My only nitpick, it all bags with a laptop slot should come with a cup/bottle holder.  Other than that, I have been loving this pack!

First, I love the bright colors on this pack.  Helps me identify mine in the sea of black and blue bags.  Second, this is a great commuter backpack.  The laptop slot can fit my thicker Thinkpad just fine and still has room for my lunch box and other items I need for work

 That'S this size: it can get a little bit awkward to wear a large travel bag and then this bag completely filled out. So you want to manage that a little bit and I think that overall, this could potentially work better with one of their rolling suitcases. Jumping into the organizational options, the company keeps things really simple here, but very effective on the outside there's just one quick access, zippered compartment. I really like the slant zipper here very easy to open up

 The straps have a decent amount of padding it's a little bit thinner than I would like to see on a bag of this size, but they still have a pretty comfortable feel and then on the inside. They have this meshing material to help prevent moisture from building up, and then I really like the width of the straps to help prevent them from digging into your shoulders. Even when the bag is a little bit more packed out and then on the straps. There is no sternum, strap included with the bag, but you do have the ability to attach when using these straps here and then they also have a few d-rings on the strap for attaching some additional accessories and then continue on with the back panel

 The base is pretty reinforced, but in general it's still not gon na offer the same level of protection as a false bottom would have and so pulling my laptop out now with the compartment empty. You can get a better look at the inside. It comes up a nice amount, so if you have a thicker device, it should be a little thin in here, okay and in general, even though it's not as well padded as I would have liked. I still like having a dedicated laptop area, and it's also just nice how quickly you can access it with this external zipper and then the last area that we're gon na take a look at is the main compartment and this is a top-loading bag

 Currently, what I have in here is my 13 inch macbook pro, but you can see there's some leftover space near the top, and so this compartment has an okay amount of padding on the back. As I mentioned, when I was talking about this area, there's a little bit of padding here and then the front side of the compartment is also slightly padded, but in general I would have liked to have seen just a little bit more rigidity, considering that this is An area that's meant to protect something as expensive as the laptop. Besides that know, sort of fleece lining or anything like that on the inside and the bottom of the compartment is not suspended off the bottom of the ground, which I would have really liked to have seen. There is a little bit of padding on the bottom

 We'Ve got two compartments one front facing compartment and then we've got our main compartment here and you can see the front facing compartment. Has this diagonal zipper here? It utilizes a number 10 ykk chunky zipper, and you can also see something. That'S good to see is that they have these counter pulls on either side of the zipper path. It just makes it really easy to access the zipper

 I have a 13-inch laptop inside a rush faster laptop sleeve, now best recommendation for this laptop compartment is to actually pair it with a protective laptop sleeve because, as you can see, it's not padded and it's only very lightly suspended from the base of the back. So you'll do well with protecting your laptop one step further by adding a laptop sleeve or a laptop case. Okay, so without further ado, let's conduct our rush faster, be capacity test to see how many 106 packs can fit inside this 18.5 litre bag

A Simple & Playful Backpack For Light EDC Carry - The Topo Light Pack

 So these are cords you know of varying sizes and of sizes and thicknesses, and the loops themselves are pretty versatile for them, especially with this. You know this is my like full laptop charging, cable and it goes right in here it's a little bit of a squeeze, but it's not overly tight and then same with this. You know like it's the cord's a little bit smaller. So it's going to be easier to get in there, but the the elastic does a pretty solid job at accommodating cords of different sizes

 Uh, just because you know, as you put stuff in here, it impacts what can go in here and then impacts what can go in here and then on this side and it's just kind of like a little train of uh trying to get stuff to fit. So, for the sake of showing you sizing to just zip this when it's empty and then open up the other side here now, this side has more organization, but i kind of run into the same problem as the other side. So there is a zippered mesh pocket here i have a power bank in there there's a lot of extra room uh. So again you can kind of put looser items in there and then here there are four elastic loops and then two here, so you can really

Topo Designs Tech Case Review (2 Weeks of Use)

 Show you in that in a second, so you've got this top one and then you've got this cinch strap here, which you can pull open to access inside um. But basically, if you wanted to fill this right up, higher you've got kind of this extra space. Here. This will this flap will just come over the top and then you can attach it

 I want to grab quickly on top just so that i can grab hold of that, and then i've got my jacket and then my tech pouch i'll just show you that right down the bottom. So because this is a big bucket, packing cubes tech, pouches do come in handy, especially if they have a handle as well. So you can just grab those, and then this is the inside big bucket, but it's that yellow interior. It makes it so so easy to access whatever you have in there, so it definitely comes in handy and then at the back is the laptop sleeve

 So, for example, let me just flip that back. Oh this, dual opening is i'll. Show you in that in a second, so you've got this top one and then you've got this cinch strap here, which you can pull open to access inside um. But basically, if you wanted to fill this right up, higher you've got kind of this extra space

 There are two external pockets on here: you've got one in this flap here and one down the bottom. Now these come in really handy for those quick access items that you want to grab quickly and they've got some really. Nice zipper pulls the zippers on this are ykk and i believe they are um 10 rc, but, as you can see, they're really really chunky and it just feels like they've got it together when you're opening it up. It just feels durable

Topo Designs Rover Pack Classic Review (3 Weeks of Use)

 Here you got that nice topo bright, yellow inside really lights up the bag, so you can really see what's at the bottom, so you don't lose anything and then at the top we have another quick grab pocket here. This one kind of goes over the top of the bag, depending on how much you have it packed out. If you got these tightened down more, it's gon na lay a little bit flatter here, so you can have more access to it. Otherwise, it'll kind of be behind the back your neck, which is you know, not a bad spot for a more safety conscious people just so it's harder to get into it, while you're wearing it

 In here this one, I believe you can fit a 13 inch laptop in this one and then same little cinch system. One difference is with this: one is that these side, pockets are not elastic, so they don't really fit too much. You'Re not gon na fit a water bottle in here. That'S you know too large

 This is best used with pouches or packing cubes, or something like that, and then let's undo these compression straps to try to get the best view of the inside here. So you can really pull that width apart. So you can see it's just a big sack. Sort of situation here, giant bucket style, whatever you want to call it great for filling again with packing, cubes pouches, anything like that and then a little sleeve here

 Then you're gon na have on the classic, and it's just got like a kind of like slick feel to it. So the water should bounce right off of that. But again as with all these the same sort of organization, you have you know the stretchy water bottle pockets and compression straps, although they are metal on this one. But it's all sort of the same and then in this middle pocket

Topo Designs Rover Pack Roundup Review (Tech, Mini, Premium, Original)

 There is a little bit of padding here, nothing too crazy, but yeah. It'S just. It'S utilitarian. Its standard it works, it's got a shoulder or a sternum strap

 You know we're not big fans of that here, but uh. It'S nice that you can adjust it at least so. There'S the sternum strap I'm gon na move up to the top of the pack. There is a quick grab pocket at the top

 So, keep that in mind it's great for little. Things like, as you see my whole hand, doesn't even fit inside of it width wise. Barely it's great for smaller things, maybe some small wireless headphones. Maybe your keys, if you don't want to put them on the key clip you know, whatever you can think of a wallet, would go good in there, so that and then, if we open this thing up in the main capacity of the pack, it's just a big Bright, yellow and honestly, it's been pretty great

 I'D say it's utilitarian. It'S not definitely nothing flashy going on, but it works really well. I'Ve actually found this thing to be pretty dang comfortable. It has some load lifters at the top, which is nice to really like squish, that pack close to your back and then the the straps are just they're, just solidly cushioned, there's a little bit of mesh here on the straps, but no mesh on the back panel
