There’s a little of the upper mids sucked out which most people won’t want anyway. Also, they are super easy to drive, so no need for an amp. Noise isolation is mediocre. Overall, a perfect headphone for your average person who “wants a nice pair of headphones” but doesn’t want a big commitment

On tracks with intense sub-bass content, like The Knife's "Silent Shout," the earphones deliver a solid low-frequency response. At top, unwise listening levels, they don't distort, and at more moderate levels, the bass still feels robust. However, the lows don't sound as boosted here as they are on many bass-forward in-ears—the focus is more on accuracy and balance.

It has very warm sounding vocals, a balanced sound (with very slight favor to lower mid range & upper bass), and comfortable (loose) fit on my ears/head. It handles thick, polyphonic music passages with ease without distortion…while keeping the main melody/vocals volume and tone quality still cutting through with warmth

They also come with a lot more silicone and foam ear tips to help you get the best fit, and their charging case now uses a USB-C port instead of a micro-USB. On the downside, their battery performance falls short of their advertised claims, and their mic has a sub-par recording quality. 

They are a bit muted in the sound signature which can make them less fatiguing than other, more analytical, headphones. Mids - A bit to high level for me, it tended to make punk rock music sound very close and muddied Lows - A bit boomy but very spacious Audio Technica ATH M-50x Highs - Quite good representation, a bit cold though Mids - Nothing special, no major issues though Lows - Too over-emphasized -----------------Comfort--------------- Beyerdynamic DT 770 - Winner Perfect. I wore these on multiple occasions for more than 7 hours and never noticed any pressure points or discomfort. The headband is larger than average to distribute the pressure

Plus, you're right: An over-ear headphone could get mighty sweaty during the summer depending on your location. I recommend an in-ear earbud with properly fitting silicone or foam tips.
