I really love these. I also have a pair of the AD700s, but if these are closer I'm just as happy to pick them up. I was a little worried I wouldn't like the straight band (vs the winged type on the AD700s), but it is very comfortable and doesn't give me a pressure headache like I experienced with a previous set I had by Astro, which these triumphantly replaced. They're very light, which also helps

 Hey guys, Thundee here and welcome to our review of the Audio-Technica ATH-PDG1.

 These are high-end gaming headsets from Audio-Technica and they retail for roughly about $189 right

 Now you're wondering why should I pay $189 for gaming headsets from Audio-Technica, I

 don't usually get gaming headsets from them.

 Well, let's talk about some of the features and why I think these are actually pretty

 So the PDG1 will work for your PS4, your Xbox One as well as your PC and we'll talk about

 But these are ultra-light, comfortable, open-ear gaming headsets.

 What that means is that of course you can hear all the background noise around you while

 It allows some of that noise to come in so at least you're aware of your surroundings.

 also the listening audio, how well does this headphone actually do a good job in gaming?

 It does a very good job in the sound production, very crisp, very clear, you can hear sounds

 around you, it's got that nice solid stereo feel, overall the headset does a very very

 good job, I like the kind of audio production that it does and on the music level you also

 can get a very rich audio sound so if you also listen to a lot of music and you're thinking

 hey can I use this to listen to my music on my smartphone, definitely the ATH PDG1 does

 a fantastic job with audio, you won't regret it.
