Time
The finish is smooth and feels nice but its not what I want on a barbell. I can barely feel the knurl and my hands were sliding around the bar doing curls (I had 50lb on the bar, and the bar is 30). There was definitely a bit of residual manufacturing oil on the shaft so I'm going to wipe it down and give it another go but right now I'm very much not enjoying e-coat.

Well... It's more of a workout "area" than a gym at this point but I have my FID bench on the way and I by some miracle was able to grab a pair of Bowflex Selectech 552 dumbbells at my local sporting store. I was searching for those for about 2 and a half months and almost did a backflip when I got the last pair this morning. I have my bench on the way, my dip bars, and my weights now.
