It weighs just 7 pounds, and the aluminum pot is round and has a ceramic nonstick coating, the only one in our ratings with that feature. There's another feature that sets this model apart: You can use the pot on any type of range to sear, sauté, or brown food before slow cooking. Program this cooker for up to 20 hours, and the auto-warm setting lasts 4 hours. The warranty is for three years.

One downside of this is that, whilst the glass lid is dishwasher, safe, calphalon suggests you don't put the ceramic coated pot in the dishwasher. This may be a setback in convenience for some, but this may be made up for by the easy, clean technology used in the design of this pot

 They look great what you want dude, what are you doing? So? What are you guys doing? Everything feels nice um, and that is the unbox. I'M just going to throw this up right here. There'S you know like cardboard, residue and stuff on it: yeah - probably processing chemicals from them. It'S about on this stuff

The coated porcelain insert for this slow cooker is made to handle the heat of your stove top. This is a great option for browning meats for stews and sauteing onions and other veggies for a more flavorful slow, cooked meal, keep all of the juices from meats in the pot for hearty stews and soups. This slow cooker is slightly smaller than others, but has enough capacity for a family of four

 While this slow cooker gives you some added versatility by being stove and oven safe, it is not dishwasher safe, which is kind of a letdown. Handy new crockport

I just received this and am disappointed in the quality of the ceramic insert.  There are multiple imperfections and even a small chip right out of the box!  The insert doesn't even fit securely in the base, it rocks and tips.  It heats fine, but the workmanship is not something I would expect from Crock-Pot, especially since I ordered directly from Crock-pot's website.

 And I don't have a dishwasher so the crock is so easy to clean. (I always spray my crock with Pam.) Great buy for smaller households.
