If you buy this camera to use in OBS etc. you MUST use an external capture card device like an Elgato CamLink. This prevents in camera encoding to ensure of less heat and potential damage. (The camera still gets warm while on for a while, but any device with a battery as such will and it’s not worrisome) Image quality is superb, especially with the addition of the Sigma lens

I would suggest going for the EOS R5, but make sure to get the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens along with it. This will provide a good focal range with constant maximum aperture, image stabilization, and excellent image quality. I suspect that you should be able to get the camera and body for less than the body-only price of the 1DX Mk.

I don't need all the bells and whistles, but this camera is full of them. It's a "beginner" camera that makes other beginner cameras look like disposables.

This has all the features of a workhorse, dynamic camera. The 45 mp pic quality, 4k 60 and 120p, 8k 30p, nice 4k timelapse, etc..

It’s a $550 camera, not an $800+ camera. The black levels are very nice. Autofocus is pretty good. Takes 2 seconds at most to autofocus if you quickly put your hand up to it
