As soon as this thing was installed and I booted up my PC, the results were IMMEDIATELY noticeable. My idle temps have plummeted from 65-70 down to about 25-28 Celsius. Under load ( I played an early 2019 game on almost max settings for several hours), the temp barely rose, going to about 34-36 Celsius across all my cores. This beast definitely does it's job VERY well and I'm thrilled about it

I have yet to even touch curve optimizer or scalar. I am blown away by how good this thing runs.

Powersupply: I usually start by looking at Seasonic and higher end EVGA and Corsair models.

Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550i. PSU: LianLi SP 750W (was a bit sketched out about this because of reddit threads but I went with it because of its price and so far its doing well, no fan curve issues.).

Make sure you look at its dimensions and know the dimensions of your case to ensure that it will fit in with the panels on. This cooler does come with some thermal paste with which to apply and install the cooler but I had some higher quality stuff laying around from a previous mother board upgrade/replacement so I used it instead. I'm not sure of the quality of the thermal paste that comes with the cooler but I'd probably spend a couple extra bucks and buy you a high quality paste alongside your order of this cooler just to be safe. I should note that previously I only had 2 case fans installed in my case

If it’s running loud try and determine what CPU cooler, gpu model and case you have since these are all things that can be causing the loud noise. I wouldn’t recommend liquid cooling, manufacturers will lead you to believe it’s superior but they do run a lot louder and are more expensive than air coolers so a good air cooler like the scythe Fuma 2, Noctua D15, Be Quiet dark rock 4 pro or Noctua NH U12S will work just fine.
