We know some gamers feel the Numpad hanging off the side of a full-size keyboard is just dead weight. If that sounds like you, you'll want to check out the Corsair K70 RGB TKL, which is our pick for the best TKL gaming keyboard. This keyboard is a scaled-down 80% version of the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2. Altogether it feels very well-built, its keys feel stable and well-spaced, and it has thick, doubleshot PBT keycaps.

Its latency is extremely low, and it has a maximum polling rate of 8000Hz, which is much higher than most gaming keyboards and means the keyboard can send electronic reports back to its connected computer more often. Doing so can provide slightly faster response times, but not all gamers will notice a difference with it enabled, and it can eat up a considerable amount of your system resources. Our unit has linear Cherry MX Speed switches, which feel responsive and very light. However, they don't feel completely linear. The K70 RGB TKL features doubleshot PBT keycaps that fight off smudges and sweat, so you'll never miss a beat in-game, and that are enjoyable for both gaming and typing. The board also comes with bonus cheaper ABS keycaps in the box for more style and fun. One caveat: Typing on this board may require an adjustment period for how close the keys are to each other.
Interestingly, the K70 RGB TKL has its own multi-threaded SoC, which allows it to hit an 8000 Hz polling rate &mdash; 8 times the polling rate of many of the other keyboards on this page. (But we didn't notice a difference, not even with an AMD Ryzen 5950X CPU.) More helpful was the bounty of onboard profiles (up to 50), advanced tournament-style feature set, and responsiveness of this TKL.

They feel really nice on your fingers, thanks to that shape and the texture to them, and what you'll notice is there's a couple of different options included, so you have a different sort of shapes included on there. Now in the box, you also get a manual obviously which talks to you about the various hardware options

Tko keyboard from corsair that'll set you back around 139 pounds sterling or 139 and, as i said, it comes with a number of switch options and i'll leave the specifications in the description. So you can check that out, but it also has pbt double shot: keycaps, an aluminium backplate and, as i said, a detachable usb c cable that you'll see a bit later on, so it already shines in a number of ways.  I absolutely love this board. It does everything i want. The one thing i would really love corsair to do again is add some of that damp and foam in there clear in that space or heck, maybe make this a little more slim low profile version right there, and i think we get a little more of that Solid feel that's the one thing i would like, but other than that it does every single thing right right here now the question you're gon na ask yourself: is it worth number one, the nsrp of 150 bucks? But, more importantly, is it worth the price difference compared to the one with the mechanical switches which you can find on sale? Quite a bit right here, regular msrp on the mechanical one is 140. If i'm thinking right, but these days, you can find around 110 120 something bucks like that

 If you play high-end - and you want that little bit of competitive push, i would say it is beneficial right here. I really do. I absolutely love this keyboard. You 

 Bleed kind of radiating out through the bottom, but still it's not like this crazy disco, rgb. You know what i mean: we've seen some other keyboards. I love how you still have the rgb, but it's still kind of subtle. So it feels if we can say a little more professional, looking rgb now, if you all stuck through this video, you can catch my vibe right here

 Is it worth that price difference? I would say. Yes, it really is. If you play high-end - and you want that little bit of competitive push, i would say it is beneficial right here. I really do

The TKL Keyboard We All Asked For

The keyboard itself is very high quality; Very stable and pleasant switches, good keycaps and a proper stance. The real problem starts when you start to use it for typing.. any sort of typing

 As far as these keycaps you're, seeing they're also double shot pbt. The exact same, if you all, saw the corsair pbt keycap video i did. These are made the exact same very thick and durable nice shine through pbt keycaps. Now talking about putting some of the replacement keycaps on there

 I do have one right here with the red keycaps and i just love this because again you got the black bass back there. The red keycaps and i put a white led the rgb in the background on static, and it just looks so cool, but even just like this, i mean it just looks awesome and again. The quality of the replacement keycaps are the exact same quality as the one on there. So don't think you're gon na downgrade swapping them out or if you get one set heck you can, you know, interchange them and do black and red or black and blue whatever color variation you want, but all in all i love this setup right here now

 I hit the lock button, so my window's disabled, i'm in tournament mode bam, i'm locked into my game and straight up going. You know you all have whacked that windows button or accidentally hit a shortcut macro or something in game. So again i pretty much leave it right there, it disables the software bam. You just got raw keyboard to your game

 I really do stock straight out the box. Really, nice dab a little bit of that lube right on them switches and i think you'll be pretty much good to go, not the switches, the stabs right there, you know get yourself a different uh replacement set of keycaps. I mean i love it. I really do it's been my primary keyboard for a while on my desk and i think it's gon na stay on there for a lot longer

Corsair K70 TKL Review, MY NEW BOO! (Techne Rhyme)

 Quite annoying, and I'm sure could have been caught during quality control.  Also the key caps font cut outs where the backlighting shines thru, well it isn't quite even. Certain parts of certain letters allow more light than others giving an uneven look within each letter. Also for some letters the white light looks more pink

 Again, I feel like this should have been caught during quality control.  I will attempt to return if I'm not outside the return window.

Since there is nothing in iCue to make the user aware of this fact, I naturally assumed that the function simply didn't work and proceeded to configure everything via the non-hardware interface (it doesn't explicitly state that it's software only FYI).  But wait, there's more! The software allows you to save profiles to the keyboard -- sometimes, stay tuned -- even though nothing has been configured in the hardware sections of iCue, with no mention of the fact that you are basically saving an empty profile

  So, why didn't I just pack the thing up, ship it back and move on? Well, I was about to but when I decided to try a little troubleshooting. During which I discovered that the hardware key assignments DO work, but only after iCue is terminated. After this revelatory discovery, I replicated all of my key assignments and lighting customizations in their respective hardware sections then fought with iCue to eventually get all of my profiles saved to the keyboard.  Upon testing that everything was functioning as expecting without iCue running, I promptly disabled everything related to this steaming pile of garbage software

 So upon finally getting all of my profiles set up and saved to the keyboard I excitedly shut down iCue to see my handiwork and what do I get... unicorn vomit and defaults all around! Nothing worked

 So it's not going to shine out as much as say some of the other ones take an account again. I got big lights on right here, but other than that. Why i love this board? Well number one! It'S a tko layout, which is what i prefer. I love how my shortcuts are right up here for my media controls, but that's the one thing i wish was a little bit different

 That would make this perfect right by the way detachable usb-c. You can fit about just any cord in there flip them down to the bottom. You have two levels of pop-out feet. I pretty much always leave mine flat because just perfect just flowing up like that now the biggest thing about this board, which i love, are these switches here, they're the razor red switches

 Right comes stock with nice, thick pbt, keycaps, here very nice and solid cherry speed silvers. You can also get it in red switches as well, and i believe, silent reds, but me personally, i'm a silver fan. You have your media controls up here, some shortcuts. As far as game mode profile, mode, nice, sturdy volume, wheel and then of course again, your mute and your volume controls detachable usb c right back here and then a tournament switch which i rarely use

 So first of all, Cherry MX stabilizers are used. You either like them or hate them. Nice thing is, they allow you to remove your key caps a lot easier than the Philco-style wire stabilizers. Make sure to be especially careful removing key caps, especially if you have the Cherry MX Clear model, because the key caps are put on very tight

 The programming LEDs underneath the space bar are also very dim, but I like them this way because they're not too blinding or distracting, because if you use a programmed layer 2 through 4, those lights are going to be on all the time. So you might not really like that, but at least they're dim and not annoying. One thing I noticed in the manual is that backlit models will have two recordable layers of customized backlighting. In conclusion, Vortex has really stepped up their game this keyboard

 The aluminum case completely surprised me, and I'm impressed that they were able to keep the price point the same. It's kind of ridiculous. This is a great keyboard if you don't want to be messing with customizing your keyboard and adding on new stuff to make it how you want it, because this keyboard gives you everything high quality from the start. It gives you the aluminum case, it gives you a steel plate, it gives you a dual layer PCB, it gives you thick PBT key caps, and not only that, it has programming features to make everything work for you the way you want it

 Nice thing is, they allow you to remove your key caps a lot easier than the Philco-style wire stabilizers. Make sure to be especially careful removing key caps, especially if you have the Cherry MX Clear model, because the key caps are put on very tight. The caps lock light can't be seen from the sitting position at your desk, because it's a very dark blue color, and the caps lock key cap doesn't allow any light to shine through it. I've also moved the caps lock LED to the switch LED socket instead of the right of the switch, which I found interesting

 Hello everyone, welcome to Rhino Feed. Today I'm going to review the Poker 3. Included

 in the box contains just two things, the keyboard itself and a USB cable. We no longer receive

 the keypuller or RGB keycaps, which I'm sure they've done this to save on cost because

 they have upped their game in other areas. There's also no paper manual, so I put a

 PDF version in the description for you. So for the switches, Vortex gives you the option

 of Cherry MX blacks, blues, reds, browns or clears, and you can also choose between a

 white or black case and keycap combo. Backlighting is not currently available, but they may introduce

 it with dual color LEDs, and pricing will range from $119 to $129 depending on what

 model you choose. So on this particular keyboard, Vortex sent me Cherry MX clears, which are

 a tactile non-clicky switch with an actuation force of 55 centinewtons. They're very similar
