Fit
Corsair VIRTUOSO RGB WIRELESS XT
Personally the pleather doesn't bother me but comfort is subjective for the corsair XT since round earcups isn't everyone's cup of tea.
Sennheiser HD58X
These are made to last and therefore you can literary drop these cans on the floor, without the fear of them disintegrating into pieces. You don’t have to baby them, although I’m the kinda guy who does exactly that. 🙂
Sound Quality
Corsair VIRTUOSO RGB WIRELESS XT
What can i say, i love my full metal corsair products, the RGB is really cool how they have the ring around the mic! The audio is great when its in the wireless mode and its even better when you use the Aux cord. The pressure on my ears isn't a problem because of the soft foam inside The headset fits great tho its not the softest head padding Yeeeeeeee yeeee Over all i would say you cant go wrong here, a must buy! Edit: after using it for awhile i would it needs some softer head padding

I went back and forward several times with multiple tracks in high resolution audio format and I could not shake off the impression of an increase in airiness without the foam.
Comfort
Corsair VIRTUOSO RGB WIRELESS XT
Wireless: The dongle provided is built strong and looks good. Functionally awesome too considering I can walk around my apartment without losing audio or mic connection. Comfort: Comfy but a bit too snug. The snugness does help with sound isolation though

Durability
Corsair VIRTUOSO RGB WIRELESS XT
The "Premium" version is worth it for the build and audio quality obtained considering it is wireless. Build: Quality build. Sturdy while looking really clean and cool. The RGB is a plus considering I already use Corsair's iCue software for my PC fans and keyboard
Sennheiser HD58X
Heading into the highs, the HD58X manages to keep its posture effortlessly. No crazy spikes here or eerie shrieking ‘S’ sounds. Nope, Sennheiser nailed it again as it did with the other frequencies.
Bluetooth Connectivity
Corsair VIRTUOSO RGB WIRELESS XT
I'm writing this review on day 3 of owning, and these are the perfect well-rounded pair of wireless headphones. These replaced the Void Pro headset of mine and while I thought the Void Pros were top tier a year ago, the XT makes the Void lineup look like Skullcandy. The headset is nice and light, has an above average microphone, dual connection between dongle/bluetooth at the same time, and even a 3.5mm port for an external DAC

You can also find used sennheiser HD560s under $150, but those aren’t always as good for fun listening, and one of the best openback budget options is the hifiman he400se or he-x4, but those require at least a portable amp to actually sound good, and sometimes just to get loud enough. I’d only get the BTR5 if just having Bluetooth is really important to you. Also note that iPhone don’t support any of the higher res Bluetooth codecs, so you are generally just buying it for the Bluetooth convenience at this point. Good luck!
Battery Life
Corsair VIRTUOSO RGB WIRELESS XT
"Discord Certified" but causes issues with Discord keybinds unless Discord is set in administrative mode and/or compatibility mode. Then you have issues sharing media in chat, issues with Steam Overlay, and other issues compounding on top of that, (something you shouldn't have to deal with). With iCue closed and not running, some Corsair services remain active in the background which destroys battery life on multi GPU laptops, as the services prevent Windows from utilizing the "onboard" GPU. After disabling/removing the Corsair services my GPU auto switching was fixed
Price Point
Corsair VIRTUOSO RGB WIRELESS XT
I wanted something wireless to avoid extra wires without compromising quality of sound on the mic end and audio end. Below I breakdown pros and cons mostly from a wireless perspective. Price: After watching review after review of Yotubers comparing these to other headsets that are significantly more expensive, I had a feeling these would be worth it. And so far they are

If you want to go openback there are good value for money budget options from both Superlux and Koss, Superlux HD681, Superlux HD681 Evo and Superlux HD668B, also Koss Porta Pro and Koss KPH30i (Koss KSC75 is perhaps not a good option since it lacks subbass).
