Sound Quality

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/2)

I am returning these and going for the Sennheiser set and hopefully the sound quality, setup and design will be better with those, even though the reviews are kind of terrible too. Also, they took forever to get here. I ordered them on the 9th and they got here on the 14th. Not as quick as advertised when buying

Grado SR60x

(1/3)

The Grado SR60e are subpar headphones for everyday, casual use. They have an above-average but sharp sound quality and an open design that gives them a wide soundstage compared to most on-ears. However, they leak a lot of audio and don't block any noise. They're not stable enough to use while doing sports, and they're not ideal for loud environments, commuting, or office use

Durability

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

I can unplug them in the morning and be absolutely certain they will get me through a full work day. If I forget to charge them at night, they will still be fine for at least a few hours the next morning. Their connectivity has been rock solid - never disconnected unless I disconnect them by walking too far away, and then reconnecting instantly. I also love the flip-up micr acting as a mute switch not visible to others on a Zoom call

Grado SR60x

(1/2)

I've had these for less than a year and the foam pads that cover the ears are starting to pop off and there's no way to get them back on and make them stay. Another reviewer mentioned needing to buy new ear pads, but for the price of these headphones I'd love them to come with high quality parts that you don't need to replace. Also, the foam is uncomfortable and has no sound-blocking properties at all, in or out. My mic picks up my co-hosts voice through the headphones when I'm recording a podcast unless I set the volume so low I can barely hear them

Price Point

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

These are not worth the price at all. I typically buy headphones that I can switch between gaming and recording audio on, and I can already tell that trying to record music with these is going to be useless. If you can wait until you can spend $200 it’ll be worth the wait, that’s when your options start opening up massively. I picked up my Sennheiser HD569s for just over $200 and they are great.

Fit

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/2)

Comfortable headset for larger head, falls off of smaller heads. The ear cuffs rotate so you can lay the headset flat on the table. The ear cuffs are comfortable and not hot. Decent quality audio and mic

Grado SR60x

I’m super picky and sensitive so pretty much everything feels uncomfortable. Really don’t care about sound at this point, just need comfort. Loved the Grados comfort but the cable sucks, and not confident enough for cable mod.

The headphones are great but I wish cushions were more comfortable and securely attached. First time I put them on the cushion came off and I had trouble getting it back in place. Haven’t used them since

Noise Cancellation

Corsair Void RGB Elite

(1/1)

Love this headset! I have a newborn at home and these are perfect for work calls since I am working from home. it is noise cancelling enough and I love that the microphone mutes automatically when you lift it up so if i need to yell something out at home, no one on the call can hear. Would highly recommend

Pretty disappointed as these were a major investment for me, even at a slightly cheaper price on Ebay.
